Delay Pregnancy?

Book the trip but make sure to buy trip insurance just in case you get pregnant and have to cancel. Good luck :)

If the pregnancy is the biggest priority to you right this moment, go ahead and try then be prepared to reschedule Disney if necessary. I did not have an easy pregnancy and Disney would have been impossible. Others I am sure have had the opposite experience. No two pregnancies are the same. If you want both, I would wait until after the trip to try and conceive. I don't recommend riding anything that makes you sick, pregnant or not. That will ruin a day easily if you get sick enough. I found out the hard way that the teacups and Mission Space are absolutely nauseating for me and will leave me sick for several hours. Your husband will be fine riding some things alone. Best of luck in starting your new family.

I'm going to sound like I'm saying yes and no.

I'm with the ppl saying to just keep trying bc you never know how long it may take.

On the other hand, the first 4 months of both of my pregnancies I felt so sick. I could barely suffer through sitting at work all day, nevermind walk all over WDW. Not everyone gets sick like that (or has significant food aversions and constantly feels exhausted) and I certainly didn't expect it, but it is not how I'd want to spend a WDW vacation.

In the end, the decision is yours obviously.
This times 1000. I'm a yes no too. I was 3 months pregnant with my 3rd when we were in Disney. My morning sickness wasn't terrible but it was bad enough.

I thought about this a little more and just wanted to add a few thoughts. If you have not been to Disney, chances are that you and your husband will want to be trying every experience you possibly have time for, which makes for a busy day. This can be exhausting even if you are already in good shape and not pregnant. Is your hubby going to be ok if you tell him that you need to stop and rest? One thing that often happens during pregnancy is that you become easily tired. I mean, can't keep your eyes open and need a daily nap tired.

Tattylou is absolutely correct. I had an awful, dreadful pregnancy that included multiple hospitalizations. Other people have easy pregnancies. You just never know. The exhaustion and nausea can be unbelievable.

As someone who ended up going through years of infertility I strongly advise not postponing any chances to try and get pregnant. Trip plans can always be adjusted if necessary. Good luck!

I've been pregnant 91 weeks total. 71 of them have been abject misery.

I planned my pregnancies around vacations, weddings, etc. because I was still young (27 with my first, 30 with my second failed one, and 31 with the last). For someone that has less time left biologically, I can see why that may not work.

It might not even work well for someone who is supposed to have lots of time left biologically. I had no idea both of my tubes were blocked by age 26 (It takes a lot to get them to do invasive testing on a young otherwise healthy person). It took years of trying to identify and finally treat the problem. Anyone who is able to pick and choose if and when to become pregnant is truly fortunate.

Regarding the posts about infertility, I couldn't agree more. My dd had infertility issues, and you never know how long it might take to get pregnant or have a successful pregnancy.

DW pregnant for 3 trips. Not more than 4 months along so it wasn't a huge deal. She was comfortable and rode what we normally would. The only thing she missed out on was Mission Space.

As mentioned, don't wait. If you get pregnant, than you decide what you want to do. Don't let your trip decide. Our first child took almost 10 months and the second was, excuse my expression, one hit and happened very quick. We had out first Disney cruise planned this past May but decided it wasn't safe to go with the Zika running in the Caribbean. Were we sad we had to cancel, yes, but we can go another time. Got a better present in return.

Disney is way more fun with kids!

This exactly. I have been pregnant 6 times, only twice successfully. We started trying for a baby just before I turned 29. I ended up being 32 when I had my first, and 36 when I had my second. I would really love to have a third, but my pregnancies have left me with health issues that make another "geriatric pregnancy" particularly dangerous, so we are done. There are some who are able to plan their pregnancies around their lives, but no one should assume that they are going to be one of those people.
