i have never been to DLP or overseas for that matter. We are thinking Spring Break 2018 for 8 days. Staying at a Disney resort and planning 3-4 days at parks and the rest seeing Paris. A few questions...

1. Is it crazy during this time? Being US spring break.
2. Is it easy to get to the must see Paris tourist sites?
3. What are the can't miss attractions and restaurants?

I am excited to be a part of the 25th celebration!!

Thanks!!

My wife and I were just there 2 weeks ago during spring break and it was busy but not crazy at. Theres a train station at the entrance to the park that will take you directly into paris in I think about 45 mins. We focused on all the rides and things that arent in orlando. I especially enjoyed the ratatouille ride and the castle (you get to go upstairs and check it out and theres a dragon in the basement. Also your experience may vary but the weather was beautiful 65 and clear everyday. Enjoy your trip and feel free to message me if you have any questions.

It's very easy to get into Paris from DLP but if it were me, I'd prefer to do a split stay so that I also experienced staying in Paris. Approximately which dates are you thinking about?

I'm sure I will have lots of questions as I start planning. Thanks for the info on the train. did you stay on site your whole trip or do a split stay?

Another question... can you use Disney Gift Cards purchased in the US at DLP?
Unfortunately not.
Thinking March 24- March 31st.
That's a good time as none of the French schools are on holiday although I think UK school holidays may start around the end of your dates so the beginning will be better than the end. And of course weekends are always busy however there aren't really enough US visitors to DLP for spring break to impact on crowds.

Thank you. That's great news. I want to start planning

We stayed off site, At disney world I ALWAYS stay on site but for the price of the onsite hotels was way to high for me to think it was worth it, I stayed in Torcy which is about a 10 min train ride from disney. Got right out of the station and my hotel was across the street and 50 euros a night.

Thanks I will check it out

Just got home Friday from a week in Paris. We spent 4 days in Paris and the final 2 at Disney. Getting to Paris from Disney is easy, as a PP said, the station is right outside the gates of Disneyland. If I remember correctly, it cost about 8 euros per person one way, or you could get a multi-use ticket. I'd definitely consider a hotel in Paris for those days, it's a wonderful city, and the metro will get you everywhere.
Since we only had 2 days, we concentrated on the attractions unique to Paris. Ratatouille, Crush's Coaster, Big Thunder, Mickey and the Magician and the Parade. We skipped Indiana Jones, and Space Mt was closed. Make sure you visit the castle and the dragon.
Weather was in the 50s, thankfully no rain. It was busy, but not crazy busy.

I would also recommend a split stay.
It takes 35 Min from Disney with the RER to get to Paris and Paris is quite big.
We did 4 days Paris in a lovely small Haussmannhouse hotel and then another 3 in Disneyland staying onsite.
Unfortunately all the restaurants in Disney are nothing to get excited about. there are awesome restaurants in Paris but you have to do some research and pick them in advance I would recommend. There are also a lot of places with mediocre food and high prices.
