I cant find any resort that is available unless you want to pay $10,000 and can not get thru to Disney on the phones.
I somehow can not believe they have sold everything out this fast

I book through AAA so couldn't start anything till 9AM when they opened. I was there at 9. She just called me back and said they had nothing at the Pop Century when I wanted for Dec 10-16 but she did get me All Star Music. Well at least I got it but always stay at the Pop and prefer it.

Unfortunately, when I was joking with a CM on the phone she said it was "very Wise" of me to get everything done ahead of time. She said she believed this was going to be different than previous years. Fingers crossed you still get it!

The 5-night minimum stay took me out of qualifying for it. This is just going to be a quick trip for me. I had originally planned on a 3-night stay. Then the rumor came out the minimum was going to be a 4-night stay so I bumped it up to that. But I just can't afford 5-nights for this trip. Oh well. How bad can it be? I'll be at WDW. LOL Hope y'all got what you wanted!

We made our reservations a few weeks ago hoping it would fall within the correct dates (which they do). We booked the room and ticket package (5 day base ticket). We would have to change our tickets to hoppers and then modify the reservation to add free dining. This is what Disney told us when we booked. I have been trying to do this online and it basically wants me to change the reservation (where no rooms are available anymore) instead of modifying and I can't get through on the phones. Does anyone know if this is able to just be modified or does it have to be completely rebooked??

If you can't modify then it's possible the room you have booked does not qualify for the offer or there are no more offers available.

It's a 3 night minimum stay with 2 day tickets.

Is anyone else getting all circuits are busy when calling or is it just me?
It's not you it took me 300 try's to get through. I ended staying with what we got at 5:30 this morning. I wanted two rooms at sports we have one room at AOA . I am secretly thrilled I love AOA . Hubby wanted sports and upgrade to sit down . Qs if it means I can be at AOA . Best part the all the kids think we are at ASMU suites.

We are having the same issues. I am sure they will want us to upgrade to get it and the only available room showing is $2000 more than our current one. I don't think so.

When you upgrade from QS to Table service, I know its per person but is it the difference per person per day??

If someone who received a free dining reservation decides to cancel, does that room open back up as an available "Free Dining" Room? I was able to get the Boardwalk Inn with Free Dining, but would love the Beach or Yacht Club if possible. Thanks for any thoughts!

...looks like those bookings are still "soft"
I don't think so. Go read the thread in the Disney Dining forum. A whole lot of folks disappointed who tried to book during periods when they have historically been able to land FD. And there is a 6 week window blocked out from the offer (Oct 1st - Nov 14th). So bookings are not as soft this year during this period as they have been in the last decade or so.

Seems like there was very very limited amount of free dining with value resorts this year. We barely snagged an all star sports, (we wanted Pop like everyone else, lol). And we were up and on the system all night checking for the offer. Next year, I see them getting rid of free dining for the values altogether. It definitely wouldn't surprise me, unfortunately.

Honestly...it gets more difficult to read the tea leaves on this every year...

They have enough available to offer the code - that's not by choice - but they do it in a way to try and make it difficult/discourage anyone from using it again...

Like they'll "convert"...it's standard psychological warfare tactics we've come to respect.
