Sea World questions- help!

We are flying in to Orlando on 7/10 ( should land by 8:30 am) and plan on heading to Sea World after stopping at AoA to drop off carry on bags. We've never done this before, so I am desperately looking for help from vets!

1) we plan on taking an Uber from AoA to Sea World and back. Is this the most time efficient way to travel there? I think the bus routes from Disney Springs will be too confusing.

2) we have the DDP, so we might eat breakfast before heading to Sea World. Do you think we need to purchase the "eat all day" plan at Sea World? We always have snacks on hand.

3) our main reason to visit Sea World is the animal experiences. I don't think my kids will want to ride the big rides. If we visit all animal experiences and watch the major shows, how long can we estimate we will be at Sea World?
We have visited the park in San Diego, and we ended up going back to our hotel to rest and then back to the park later that night. Should we plan the same?

4) any other Sea World tips/ tricks?

All advice is greatly appreciated!

I would not do and afternoon break, it's a big waste of time and money. There are a lot of shows so you get to sit and rest quite a lot. We didn't get the meal plan. We were also on Disney ddp, so ate breakfast before we went and then ate dinner at our hotel when we got back to Disney, all we bought at seaworld was 1 counter service meal and some dippin dots, no need for the plan.
On the day we visited it was only open from 10-6, we did everything we wanted to but would have liked a little more time. I'd say 6pm was adequate though.

Thank you so much for your feedback! That's an excellent point about the shows- it's not like we will be constantly walking and in need of a break. I'm glad to hear you felt like you had a decent amount of time, too.

My advice would be to skip going to Sea World on arrival day.

If you land at 8:30 a.m. its possible you won't get to Sea World until noon with all the traveling around and checking in, etc. Also, if you are landing at 8:30 a.m., what time are you getting up to travel? Probably very early. Sea World is an outdoor show watching park, and in July you will be touring during the hottest part of the day, even more draining after a tiring trip.

I think I would start my vacation relaxing at the AoA pool and recovering from the trip. You can hit Sea World the next day when they open.

As for taking a break, that would be nice but then you would have to pay for another uber RT. I would suggest renting a car if you want to tour outside of the Disney bubble. You can "pay" for the car rental by eating a few meals offsite. You have the dining plan, but perhaps you can use the extra credits for upgraded dining experience.

I would go with the Advice given by Upatnoon

TAKE it & Relax for 1st day

////////////////

Supposed landing at 08.30 ... Doors open at 08.45 ( Landing is different from actually being in

terminal walkway ) You might be near the end of line for leaving aircraft ... then to monorail say

time is now 09.10 hrs walk to BUS stop & Restroom Stop .....

Now time is 09.45 . wait for BUS & so on

I also think using ur first day to enjoy resort and/or relax versus getting outside disney to SW after an already long start to a day and factoring in weather... may be a better use of ur time, get a early, fresh start!
We public bused it from disney ( a while back) and I'd NOT recommend that to anyone, especially with kids.

Have s great trip!!

I see you checking in to AoA at 10AM. That assumes no flight delays. By the time you check-in and ready to head out, it is about 10:30. By the time you Uber and get to Sea World, it will be almost 11AM. The park will have been open for 2 hours already. This means lines for rides will already be getting long. Yes, there are lots of shows and attractions that are not rides. The problem is it will be longer because you will be waiting for everything.

In the end, it is up to you. I would not do it. I would just enjoy AoA, get FPs for later in the afternoon at a Disney park, and just enjoy Disney.
