I know Six Flags has the bulk of theme park licensing from Warner Brothers (including ubiquitous DC Comics properties like Batman), but when I was at Universal Studios two weeks ago, the gift shop next to the Terminator 3D attraction has largely morphed into a DC Comics/Walking Dead memorabilia one, with a bit of Terminator merch thrown in. Even had resin statues of Henry Cavill's Superman and Christian Bale's Batman. (Granted, the last time I was at UO/IOA was in 2010!)
Seeing as how Warners licensed the Potter franchise to Universal, maybe Universal is eyeing licensing DC Comics characters to go with the Marvel characters on Super Hero Island?
Seems like a long shot to me.
