Any chance of seeing any DC Comics characters in UO?

I know Six Flags has the bulk of theme park licensing from Warner Brothers (including ubiquitous DC Comics properties like Batman), but when I was at Universal Studios two weeks ago, the gift shop next to the Terminator 3D attraction has largely morphed into a DC Comics/Walking Dead memorabilia one, with a bit of Terminator merch thrown in. Even had resin statues of Henry Cavill's Superman and Christian Bale's Batman. (Granted, the last time I was at UO/IOA was in 2010!)

Seeing as how Warners licensed the Potter franchise to Universal, maybe Universal is eyeing licensing DC Comics characters to go with the Marvel characters on Super Hero Island?

Seems like a long shot to me.

i think the terminator store is an outlier (of sorts) since terminator itself isn't really that profitable. last i checked they also sell merch from the big bang theory (which is owned by CBS) and doctor who (BBC), among other things... i don't think it means anything for universal licensing those properties, but rather it's just their way of making some cash--disney does the same thing, since when i last visited the magic kingdom, i saw some iron man merchandise on sale! evidently merch doesn't have the same restrictions as attractions and meet & greets do, but i'm not complaining, ehehe
