Ok so got here very early morning on Sunday. To go over the parameters:

Party of 4, 2 parents, 4 yr old girl and 20 month boy. We booked a free dining bounce back last October and have the 1 table service, 1 qs, 2 snacks per day for 3 of us. We're not real adventurous but do like more than burgers. Probably simplistic in our food tastes. I'm typing on my iPad so won't have pictures. I do appreciate everyone who does post pics and I'll see if I can sneak some in.

We're eating a lot of character meals so should get value out of the plan. We come down a couple times per year (have ap's) but usually only pick qs or eat out of Disney you save money.

Day 1

Breakfast - woke up early and went to food court ( Coronado) and got the kids fruit, waffles and bacon. Wife had a bagel and cream cheese. I stuck with a protein bar. I then made a Walmart run to grab a couple things including bottled water, cheerios, and some breakfast stuff for the room. Kids enjoyed the waffles but everything was pretty plain.

Dinner - Had 350 reservations for Crystal Palace. Got us in right on time. Time and time this ends up always being good for us. As soon as we got there we waited in line for eyeore. When we got to the table Tigger was waiting for us. Kids loved having them right away. When then grabbed food for everyone. Daughter had chicken nuggets, rice and some salad. I had roasted chicken, carrots, mashed potatoes, rice, steak and turkey. I went back for more chicken, steak and rice. I love the carrots, potatoes a bit runny but not bad, steak was pretty good. Wife had a lot of the pasts salads and pierogies which she said were excellent. Son ate salad vegetables and chicken. Desserts were chocolate chip cookies, peppermint bark and peppermint brownies. I really liked the brownie as they were warm and had a nice tast between the chocolate and peppermint. Everyone ate great. As a parent it'd a battle won if the kids eat well. Especially with so much going on.

Snacks - Light day for snacks. Wife got a rice crispy treat and kids got cotton candy. Both from big top treats. The rice crispy treat had santa decorations on it and was very good. Kids have yet to have any cotton candy. No idea what we'll do with all these treats this trip. We picked our refillable mugs at night. I got myself a drink but wife and kids don't really drink soft drinks so probably just taking the mugs home for them.

Day 2 - Monday

Breakfast in the room. Forgot plates so had to improvise a bit but got everything fed with a light meal.

Lunch - had Mama Melrose Fantasmic package. So much food. For the package you get an appetizer, entree and dessert for 1 ts credit. Bread service was great. Wife and I enjoy the dipping oils and filled up a bit. Daughter enjoyed the rolls by themselves. My daughter got the minestrone soup, penne noodles and meatballs with sauce on side. She shared a bit of the soup with my son but sucked down the rest, every last drop. They both had a couple noodles but not much. Threw most of it out. Just not hungry. My son hardly ate which was frustrating but doesn't normally eat a ton for lunch. Wife had the house salad which was huge. She shared with the kids but ate most of it. She also ordered Mamas Italian pasta and ate most of it. She's not a big eater so for her to do that says something. She really liked it. I had the carne flatbread but requested non-spicy sauce in case kids wanted to eat. I think my daughter had 1 pepperoni and my son through some it across the table. It was good, not great, but good. Cheese didn't have that smooth melty taste. If you ever bought cheap mozzarella and cooked a pizza at home, it was kind of like that. Crust and toppings were tasty. I had spaghetti and meatballs. Came with a decent amount of pasta and four meatballs. Pasta was pasta, sauce was decent, and thought meatballs were pretty good. Easy to fall apart and had nice spices to them. I only ate 2/4 as I was getting full.

For dessert my daughter had the ice cream which she finished. They offered the trio sampler for the adults but I requested to order off the menu. I had the chocolate and cherry tort. Chocolate was very rich and cherries were tart. I ate the whole thing. I would get that one again. My wife ordered canollis. It came with three small/ medium canollis. She ate 2 1/2 of them.

All in all a good meal. Last minut switch from doing the Hollywood and Vine seasonal meal. So glad we switched. We'd eat there again. On the dining plan the package it the way to go as you get the appetizer included. We weren't staying for fantastic and gave the passes away.

Day 2 Cont.

This has already begun to feel like a lot of food!

Dinner- pepper market. So we ended up using 2 qs credits for the family. My daughter wanted a cheeseburger. She split with my son. I was pretty impressive. Advertised as a 8oz beef burger. She ate well and said she liked it. Came with fries that were served very hot. My son decided that he wasn't going to eat so just complained in his high chair till one of us held him. My wife had the italian sand which. It was pretty huge. Premade so I'm sure it had some limitations but she was satisfied. One of the good things is that pepper market does substitute side for the drink. I had the turkey chili and it hit the spot. A bit better than a Wendy's chili but I wasn't too hungry. I'd get it again. Not a ton in it but again I wasn't looking for much. My wife had a piece of German chocolate cake with the kids. They ate a quarter of it with the rest in our fridge still.

Snacks - my daughter and I split (3/4 her and 1/4 me) the festive popcorn at Hollywood studios. Poor CM. Took him a while to put together. It had a caramel sauce in it. It was pictured with a chicolsauce but we didn't get any of it. Regular popcorn, marshmallows, m&ms, and pretzels. It was ok. I may or may not have it again. May just get regular popcorn next time.

My son and daughter split a blue raspberry glacier icee, we bought a friend a rice krispry treat that he enjoyed (always good).

Day 3

Magic kingdom day.

We booked the festival of fantasy package at Tonys Town Square. It had its ups and downs. My wife gave it rave reviews. "Italian cheese dip was excellent." She practically ate the whole thing. "Best ravioli that I ever had." It really came down to she liked the ricotta they used.

I started with the pasta fagoli for the appetizer. Reminder that this package comes with appetizer, entree, and dessert. The soup was similar to can soup. I enjoy the Olive Garden one and this was not close as far as taste. Very bland. I mainly got it as the kids tend to like soup so figured that they would share. You win some and..... for the entree I got the Italian trio but switched the fettuccine alfredo with regular spaghetti. All in all it just wasn't served hot which for me is a bust. The marinara is put on heavy and the sauce most likely comes from a can but not even the hunts kind. Not great. The noodles tasted like ones that have sat on a ponderosa or old country buffet. Wet. I'll save my overall opinion till the end.

My daughter and son split the spaghetti and meatballs sauce on the side. They both ate plain noodles and a couple meatball bites. Good size helping for a 4 yr old.

For dessert my wife had the tiramisu. "I didn't think it was that great." Didn't eat too much of it. I had the chocolate cake. I was hoping for something more traditional but it came out as a round individual portion that was heavy on the ganache and not too much cake cake. It was fine though.

The seats for the parade ended up being the prize. They reserve the section near the flag pole. We got there around 2pm and got a great seat. On the curb and our family ended up being on the end of the package purchasers. This left my daughter as the last kid on the side for a good amount of space. Most performers/ characters stopped by to say hi to her with several giving her a hug. This made the day, one of those special memories. This is why logical people spend a lot of cash, get in these crazy crowds and end up overtired. For 20 minutes of seeing your kid jump up and down uncontrollably with the biggest smile on her face.

So was the price worth it. You tell me.

Day 3 cont.

Dinner

So we were on a roll at Magic Kingdom. We had 3 anytime FPs from a problem with our room when we checked in so we went and went and went. We ended up staying till 6 on Christmas Party night with both kids going till the end. We made the responsible parental desicion to head back to the hotel and let the kids take it easy the rest of the night.

I decided to get everyone's order and go get takeout back at a Pepper Market. I did eat this time. I had my mind set on ribs but when I got down there I was told it was only a lunch time offering. I settled on a Mexican beef bowl. I was fed by the time I ate it but nothing special. I choose cilantro rice, more cilantro, barbacoa, hot salsa, onion corn/black bean mix and jalapeños. I was disappointed they didn't have any lettuce to go on any of the Mexican stuff they had.

My wife selected the nachos. It came with cheese, salsa, ground beef, onion, tomato, and cilantro. She's a big fan of nachos and liked these but they looked pretty run of the mill to me.

My daughter went back to the burger but had bacon on it. I got them carrot packages instead of fries this time. Looked the same as yesterday and she did ok with it. My son had a couple carrots and some fruit.

We substituted out drinks for a wrapped rice krispy treat, a cup of cut fruit and a lemon dessert bar. I ended up having most the bar right before bed and it was pretty tasty. It came with some powdered sugar on top which added a bit of texture.

All in all the kids got to play while I got the food and enjoyed watching Disney jr while eating.

Snacks for the day. On our way out of magic kingdom we grabbed two things. I split the large Mickey chocolate dipped chocolate chip cookie with my son and wife. We all liked it and finished it. My daughter had the frozen rice krispee treat. She ate the sides off of it. For a four year old's point of view- she liked it. It did leave her mouth blue.

Day 4 - Animal Kingdom

We had a friend who had a short stay here and gave us her popcorn bucket. We went with an early morning fill and for the first time ate it all as a family. It hit the spot for 10:30 in the morning. A bottled coke washed it down well for me.

Lunch - we had a Tuskegee house ROL package booked. By noon our kids were dragging. My son fell asleep waiting in line for Navi before it broke down. Instead of waiting we decided to head over for our reservation.

I stopped at the bar and had a Lost on Safari. For me, rum drinks are vacation. It was pricey coming in at $11.50 and that I had it sucked down in about 2-3 minutes. Good though and helped me chill a bit.

They called us to our table about 2 minutes past our reservation time. Daisy was a table away when we sat down do we were right in character mode. Quick to follow were Goofy and a Donald. They were great. My daughter can be shy and always feels so special when she gets to say hi to them. She fully relaxes with the characters. My son is still hesitant. He'll wave and say hi/ bye to them all. Some get a high five and two do far (Minnie and Pocahontas) have gotten hugs.

As for the food, most parents will probably say it takes a bit to get the family set up with food at the buffets. We go in stages. 1st we get the kids then depending who's doing what, one parent will go get theirs. It worked out that my wife was able to go first. She came back with a bunch of salads (green and pasta), some rice/chickpea blend and a big of chicken. She had a full plate and ate most of it.

I went and the plate was filled quickly. My body was crave some veggies. I obliged with some green beans and oven toasted carrots. I also took grains, corn, Naan bread, rice/chickpea mix and then done potatoes. For proteins I selected some roasted chicken and pork shoulder. The chicken was what chicken normally is. I do enjoy roasted chicken so I wax pleased with this. All the pieces fell right off the bone. The pork shoulder was very fatty and was a lot of work to eat. So much do that I only made it through half. The rice had good spice (the lady in front of me told me this is what it's all about). I enjoyed the potatoes as they were lumpy which appeals to me. To taste like I'm eating the real thing.

We took it easy on dessert this time. Each kid had a cookie. My wife had a bite of something and I skipped it all together. Nothing appealed to me too much.

Kids ending up just looking exhausted. We decided to use our safari fp and leave afterwards for nap time. We gave our ROL tickets to a young couple in front of us in line. I find that I like to have everything planned with ad much setup up as possible before the trip. This allows you the Mose options/flexibility while you are at Disney. This was that. Nap time came first before everything else. I was also happy as I got a gym workout and run in. We're going to head out for some light shopping and dinner somewhere other than Pepper Market later tonight.

As of 5pm no other snacks purchased.....Stay tuned!

Day 4

Dinner

We were set on not having Pepper Market and the kids/wife were armed with a 2 hour nap. We decided to venture back out and ended up at Disney Springs. One of my favorite places there is D-Luxe Burger. I'm a big fry person and we all like the burgers.

We arrived around 7 and there was a decent line. The had an employee encouraging those in line to use mobile ordering to cut down the line. Since we were using the dining plan we couldn't use it but the line there moves fairly quickly. Probably around 10 minutes.

I ended up with the BBQ burger. It comes with BBQ sauce, bacon and an onion ring. It seems like medium is there norm for cooking so that's what I went with. It was red on the inside but cooked. This burger is pretty huge. The burgers there could probably be split with the light eaters. I was full about 3/4 of the way through but made the desicion to finish it. I found the combo of all the toppings to go well with one another but maybe a bit heavy on the BBQ sauce. The roll was perfectly toasted. No greasiness for which they are known for so that helped keep the sand which together.

My wife had the classic which came with lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and pickles. I went back up and got her a side of onion to add on. Hers also cooked medium and hers seemed a bit more red then mine. She too enjoyed hers also. She broke some of hers off for my son. We found this humorous. We call him our little vegetarian cause he normally picks out around his tray eating all the vegetables/salad and leaving the meat. We were worried that it would be too red for him but I know it was cooked. Well for the first time this trip, he ate his meat all up. He loved it. He also ate some of my bacon.

My daughter had the kids cheeseburger with carrot sticks. I felt bad that it was her third night in a row with a cheeseburger. She went with that over the nuggets. For a 4 yr old she ate 3/4 of her burger. She had it down before most of us even started. Hers was cooked all the way through.

I also ordered 2 orders of regular size fries using 2 snack credits. They were delicious. Fresh cut and crispy. They're good sized but we finished both orders. I ate about 1 and a 1/2 of them.

Since my wife doesn't drink anything but water we decided to pay using a mix of credits and cash. They don't substitute a drink here for a side. I used one qs for my burger and a soda. I used 2 snack credits for the fries. We have APs so we paid cash for the classic burger (9.99) and the kids meal (7.99) along with a 20% discount. Our last day here our dining plan night ends and was have 1 night room only discount.

All in all I recommend this place. They are a burger place so you know what you're going to get and they do it pretty well. They can get a bit pricey for a counter service but they make the food fresh and it's very good. If you are on the dining plan it can be an ok value or if you have an AP you get the 20% off for at least another week or so.

No other snacks that day. Made it a whole day without dessert. For Day 5 (12/14) we have no reservations. Sticking with counter service for the day while exploring Epcot.

Day 5

First Day at Epcot

I had a different approach to today. For us Epcot is normally about seeing characters. We decided that try figment got the first time around 1045, right after we got to the park. Right after I started getting hungry. I made it a bit longer until after a mass character meet (if you want more NGOs subscribe to Kenny the Pirate.). We were feeling good so time to start eating.

Pre-lunch

While my daughter waited in line for Alice I decided to head over to Yorkshire for the classic fish and chips. Two pieces of fried fish with a side of fries. I was going to get a lager too but when I asked to sub out the drink on the ddp, I was told no. I decided that I already had a drink so skipped the beer.

We all split this meal as a family. Now for the fish, it was tasty but small. It fell apart very easily which also made it tough to eat. My daughter tried some but wasn't a fan. She likes tuna but never had this type before. My wife and I ate the rest up. It was gone in a couple bites a piece. The outside was crispy and Holden and not a big "fishy" taste to it.

We all had fries which were adequate. Normal fries that you would get from s diner. You could tell the grease was fresh as these were nice and golden. They are thinker than normal qs restaurants so had a nice fluffiness to them. Better than most on property. Kids each had a couple which they enjoyed.

This held us over for a couple more meets around the world.

Lunch

We waited 30 minutes or so in line for Belle in her holiday dress and then walked around a bit. I scoped out a couple places for lunch but wasn't committed to any one place. After showing my wife some menus she picked Liberty Inn in America.

We used one qs credit here. My wife decided to go with the All American burger. For the side we went with fried and were able to sub the drink for any dessert. I picked up a fresh fruit cup. My wife also wanted mac and cheese so we got a side of that too.

She cut a third of the burger off for my daughter and gave both the kids the bacon, some lettuce and the tomatoes. The burger looked pretty impressive as it was presented. The toppings were stacked on one another with a toothpick holding them together. Better than what I was expecting. Everone ate that and it was gone by the time everyone finished eating. My wife told me the mac and cheese was Stouffers and ate about half of it. It was a normal Disney side cup filled to the top. Not too bad for $2.99 minus the 20% AP discount. She only ate about half as she was hoping for something closer to homemade.

I ended up outdid the foodstand and ordered the slow roasted turkey with a Orange blossom cranberry pilsner. The turkey cost a snack credit and the size equaled what you should expect for the snack credit. Probably 2 ozs of meat with some dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, a bit of cranberry sauce and about 10 skinny green beans. It was tasty. My son had about an ounce of the turkey and half the beans. It was just enough to get me to stop thinking of eating something else. I would get this again. If I was trying to replace a full meal I'd probably need three of them.

Snacks-

We continued our way around world showcase. We've always enjoyed the smell of Karamell Kuche but never wanted to wait in line. We were at something like 36 snack credits so decided to go for it. We purchased 4 items in the store. We all shared with one another.

I went with the salted caramel cupcake. It had a chocolate cake base with a not so strong caramel colored, piled high buttercream frosting with some caramel drizzling. Normal price (Disney price) is $5.99. Overall the cupcake came refrigerated and is prepackaged in a plastic container. Now from bottom up. The cake on the bottom was dry and fairly tasteless. It had a tendency to crumble up when sticking a fork in. The frosting was good in that thick sugary frosting way. It was so much that I left a forkful at the end. The caramel drizzle was tasty sweet but I could of used a bit more.

We also got a chocolate caramel ($3.99). This looked good and followed by taste. I'm not so used to spending on a single chocolate but this was worth it. Again, we all ate a all of it. It was thick caramel on the inside with a milk chocolate shell. I had the last chuck and it took me a while to work through it.

Lastly the caramel popcorn. I was hoping for popcorn earlier in the day but left our bucket in the car. There was a reason to wait. This is probably the best caramel popcorn I've had. It was super fresh. As we waited in line we watched it pop, be carameled and bagged. We decided to get 2 large bags. Glad we did. We all ate out of one and have the other saved. When eating through this, the popped kernels that have a deep ridge create a bowl for extra caramel to settle on. Be warned as these get stuck in the bottom of the teeth. Worth it though. Great taste on the popcorn and the caramel provided a nice hardy crutch to it.

For those reading I want to apologize for the grammar. I went back and reread the last entry and it looks like auto check/chat gr did a number on a couple words. Very cryptic!

Nice review, we have never eaten at Pepper Market and I haven't noticed a lot of reviews from there.

Sounds like you're having some yummy meals! But it sure sounds like a LOT of food. I think I usually eat a snack or two and maybe a QS meal (part of one) in the parks. I especially like the Yorkshire Fish meal although my sister stole my 'chips' last time then for her snack had just an order of the 'chips'. :rolleyes:They are quite yummy.
Auto correct is usually pretty funny stuff, at least it hasn't become x-rated like some of my typing on my phone does.....everyone laughs at my texts as they are almost intelligible. Don't worry most of us are parents and can cypher cryptic comments...great job so far!!!:cool1:

Day 5

Dinner- ok so we had a pretty full day at Epcot and we're looking to let the kids unwind. We went back to the hotel, got the kids changed and headed over to the play area. They have a great sandbox and when I made the Walmart trip I bought some sand toys so wanted to get some use out of them.

So what to do when you want to let the kids play, are stuck at the hotel because it's laundry time and you can't bring yourself to go to Pepper Market again? You eat at Siestas Cantina!

Before breaking into food I went with 2 mai tais from the bar. The bartender Jesus seemed excited to make them. Again rum drinks = vacation. Two of them at this point had me feeling chilled but I was $20 lighter.

Time for food. Nice thing a bought eating here was that they had some different options. Also you can get an appetizer as an entree. I went with the chicken wings. Being from Buffalo I had no illusions that they would be the best wings ever. The plate came with 9 or 10 plump wings with a mix of flat and rounds. You had a choice of BBQ or buffalo style. Looking for some hot sauce I went with the buffalo style. It also came with choice of blue cheese or ranch (ken's dressing packets) and three pieces of celery. The wings were frozen baked ones that you would find at Dominos. I ordered them well done and glad I did. This left them cooked all the way through but not overdone.

My wife went with the caprese roll. It was an adequate portion for her but nothing overly huge. Everything looked clean and fresh on the sandwich. Hers came with a side of those thing, little potatoed fries. Crispy but not great. I used some to soak up the hot sauce on my plate.

To our congratulations we finally got my daughter something other than a burger. She went with the turkey sandwich with American cheese. We were surprised to find it heated and ended up being a grilled cheese with turkey on it. We were careful not to mention it so not to weird out my daughter into not eating it. She and her brother split it and ate most of it. Hers also came with fries.

My wife and I were able to sub out our drinks for a mixed fruit cup and and packaged ice cream sandwich. The kids liked getting the fruit cup as I received it when paying and they ate it as an appetizer. To clarify, there was absolutely no line there and they do make the food up when ordered.

Now the ice cream. So we had plans to stick around and watch the outdoor movie. Well after getting the kids set I walked around the lake to switch the laundry. If you've stayed at Coronado you know it's a decent walk around (.7 miles all the way). Well on my way back I crossed paths with my family as they've gotten cold. I followed them back to get them set in the room. Well I still had the option to go back but knew that I could just get one tomorrow. For DDPs value sake I walked back to get it. It was just a blue bunny cookie sandwhich. I had it finished by the time back to the room. Pretty foolish looking back at the whole thing but with all the walking I probably shredded about a tenth of the calories.

Next up a return to Epcot and dinner with a princess.

Day 6 12/15 - Epcot

We headed out to search for elusive characters and princesses we didn't get to the day before. We got there around 10am and started with a ride on Living with the Land. While in line I went on Allears website and showed my wife some of the snack options so we had a plan to stop after the ride.

Early Snack - I suggest that anyone with snack credits at least take a look at the options for Sunshine Seasons. If needed, a meal could be assembled with the different options. My wife picked out two, the fruit and cheese platter and a side salad. The fruit and cheese platter came with one hearty strawberry, a bunch of grapes and an assortment of cheeses (Swiss, cheddar and hot pepper; about 10 pieces). This is a great option. It normally retails for $6.99. The kids and wife ate a bit of everything and had it finished within 15 minutes or so. The plan was to have the salad at lunch time but with a change of plans it made it back to our fridge. One of the advantages of having a soft sided cooler with us.

We made it through another couple character experiences and then I headed ahead to be first in line when a Sleeping Beauty opened up. We missed her twice yesterday with the line being cut off fairly early. On my way I stopped at the bakery in a France and picked up a baguette and a ear pastry. The baguette was nice and fresh. I ate about half prior to the family catching up and everyone else split the rest. An FYI, it is ad large as one you would get at the supermarket and they give you the option to take dome butter packets with you. My wife had a bite of the pastry but that was it. Not that it was bad but already ate so much. It'll probably be eaten in the morning for breakfast.

Lunch - so we planned ahead and wanted to make sure the kids ate. We like to get done lunchables and insurance in case the kids decide not to eat and want something later on when back at the hotel. We decided to bring two with us. They were happy and set. That gave us the freedom to eat where we wanted. For the first time we tried the Lotus Blossom Cafe in China.

There is no flexibility with the dining plan here. I'll explain more. Original plan was for me to order what I wanted and my wife would eat her salad. After getting the kids to the bathroom and passing the menu a couple times she decided to order. I went with the orange chicken with white rice and she got the beef with noodles.

Ok so ordering I started to get frustrated. I knew what I wanted but going down the list there was no give by the cashier. As a reminder my wife only drinks water. I asked about substitutions and was told I had to get a beverage. Ok that's fine. I then asked about a smoothie and was denied, was told to get something under the beverage list. Ok. So then I asked for a peach tea which was under the list. Again told no. So a bit aggravated I asked her to explicitly go through the options. Fountain drink, bottle water, coffee, hot tea or orange juice. For the first drink I selected an OJ. I then ordered a coke for myself but asked for it as a large drink. I got a look and was told no only the regular. I did go back and forth with her on this one and then in my mind I had to take a step back and just make a note to look into later if I was interested to do so. I also ordered egg rolls as a snack credit.

The food wasn't bad. Probably close your mall/take out most of us could get at home. The step up being that it is fresh due to the volume of food that they serve. The chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside. Nice amount of sauce on the chicken. Not overly swimming in it but enough. Also a fair amount of meaty pieces. The white rice was cooked well in that there were no hard kernels. The kids both had helpings along with their lunchables and there was plenty left for me.

The beef noodle dish was served spicy. You could see the red pepper through. The noodles were udon noodles but were choppy. No long strands in the dush. Kind of reminded me of a Lipton noodle side dish that you would buy in the packet. There were onions and scallions mixed in. The beef was cooked through and in no way tough. That thin cut strands you find in most Chinese beef dishes.

The egg rolls were typical. Not a ton of extra taste to them. Porn and vegetable. For a snack credit you get two. Free choice of duck sauce and soy sauce in the condiment counter. I found it interesting that there wasn't a plastic ware dispenser out for public use. I recieved one fork for each dish I ordered. My kids wanted spoons for their rice and I had to fight my way back you the counter to get one.

Snack - after Frozen was shut down for a second time that day we decided to forgo our FP to get the kids back for a nap. The plan was to get them rested for our table service later on. On the way out the kids stopped at Pluto dressed up in scarf and earmuffs. I stopped to use the bathroom and walked in the festive center. There I picked up a double chocolate peppermint cookie. It would normally cost $3.50 and not a great value use for a snack credit but as with the first post I enjoy the chocolate and peppermint combo. The cookie did not disappoint. It was think and filling. The cookie was soft and thick. On top were large sugar granules with rainbow festive sprinkles. Delicious contrast between the chocolate and peppermint. Surprisingly filling to which I did not not get the last bite gown. I would get this again.

Next up 1900 Park Fare with (spoiler alert) a picture of the desserts!

Day 6

Dinner - 1900 Park Fare

I'm going to start this one off with a disclosure on something that could slant this review. Both kids ate well and as a parent that adds some enthusiasm towards the review.

I dropped the family off at the lobby about 5 minutes prior to our reservation and went to self park. We took a wrong turn with the change in traffic pattern over by the MK toll booths and then there was a line of cars 10 deep go get on property at the Grand Floridian. By the time I was half way walking to the lobby I recieved a text that our table was ready. Again seated promptly.

As soon as we got in Cinderella was a table away followed by Lady Tremiane. Cinderella was sweet as always. I was surprised by Lady Tremaine as she came off loving towards the kids. Anyways nice start getting a couple of these out of the way.

In between the two I ran up and got the kids started. I was pretty impressed by the offerings god the children. I ended up getting the, a hog dog to split, chicken nuggets, baked ziti, green beans, salad mix with cucumbers, black olives and mandarin oranges, white rice, corn, pizza and plain elbow noodles. When I walked back I had two full plates. I was also excited to head back for myself. I saw myself picking up some kids options plus saw several adult choices that I was going to make sure I grabbed. Ultimately the kids options were fairly simple (boiled hot dog) but it provided for not having to worry about the kids not eating cause something looked funny.

I went up next. I decided to keep it simple for the first trip. Hey, it's a buffet and no reason to cram the plate, I'll just get seconds. I grabbed the mild Italian sausage with mixed peppers and onions, baked ziti, mashed potatoes, a hard roll and the carved strip loin. The plate kind of reminded me of eating at a graduation party as this is the kind of food that would normally be served. It was nice that by the condiments they had little porcelain cups out so that you could scoop whatever you wanted in and not worry about it getting all over everything on the plate. I took a cup of au jus back with me.

The potatoes seemed runny when I took them but the firmed up on the plate and were fine. The ziti and sausage was pretty straightforward. The carver ended up giving me an 8-10 oz piece of strip loin. It was cooked medium and I got the end so which left it with a ton of seasoning on it. It wasn't as good as the steak at Crystal Palace but it was a good change of pace. After eating that, and seeing the desserts I decided to take it easy not not go back for seconds.

My wife had a mix of pastas and salads. They had a cheese tortellini mixed in a lemon cream sauce that she took but was neither impressed or unimpressed by it. She enjoyed the potatoes salad as it had decent size chunks of potatoes. She said her favorite thing was some mixed vegetable medley that was on the cold bar. She ate it by itself and added it on top of her green salad.

Ok now for desserts. It was one of those things where you take a hit of this and one of that and end up with more than you had planned.

You'll see a cannoli, carrot cake, nice fresh gummy bears, a rice krispy treat and chocolate brownie sprinkled with vanilla sauce. Everything was tasty. I think I got to eat 1 or 2 gummy bears ad the kids took them off my plate.

Overall, it was a great meal/experience. Our waitress was attentive as I never had to ask for a refill. Drizella was the star of the show. She had my 20 month old cracking up. She gave him the advice that "if you like something put a ring on it." Everyone left happy.

Let me know if you like the pictures. I'm guessing we have 3 counter service (thinking Wolfgang puck express in there, maybe Caseys) and three table service left (BOG, Ohana, and Bon Voyage breakfast). We think my son came down with croup yesterday do we're going to skip parks as we're tired from him being up at night and want to let him take it easy a bit. Here's to hoping my daughter stays healthy.
