Where to buy TIW/Annual Pass

We are arriving at Disney World next week, and on the day of arrival I want to purchase the Tables In Wonderland Card, as well as the discounted Annual Pass. Am I able to do both of these things at Guest Services? We will be heading into Disney Springs that day, I'm assuming there's some place there we can do it, is that accurate? If not, where do I go to get these?

Yep! Guest services at Disney Springs has both, as well as cucumber infused water! (If my memory serves me correctly)

also photo i.d. and your credit card! To be sure, make sure all in your party have i.d. also. Are you doing the Christmas Tree walk while there? Have a great trip.

You should be able to get them at any Guest Services. We purchased ours at the International Gateway at EPCOt. We purchased our AP previously, but picked them up and activated them there. As others mentioned, bring a photo ID and your DVC card. We didn't need the credit card, they used our magic band, but I had it just in case.

You can buy your DVC AP from Member Services over the phone. You can also purchase it online. This will enable you to make fastpass reservations at the 60 day mark. You will still need to go to Guest Services at a park (or Disney Springs) to show your ID, show your DVC Card, get the pass activated, and get your yellow AP Card.

You can get the TIW from Guest Services at the same time.

Since you are just a week out, you can do the entire transaction at Guest Services, but I include this info for other people who read this who may have more time.

We're waitlisted for a 25 point BLT add-on since Nov 13 (Feb UY). I'm worried that it may not come through until too late for the AP discount.

Can we buy the discounted AP and use the upgraded membership when we activate in Dec 18?

Guest Services at Disney Springs can help you get the AP and the TIW card.

If your plans change and you're instead going straight to the parks, the AP will be purchased/picked up at one of the ticket windows but the TIW card can only be purchased at Guest Services. I recommend DS if you can as it saves an extra potentially long line to wait in.

A reminder that the TIW card is just a paper ticket (reminiscent of the old paper WDW tickets) and you don't want to lose it.

Almost 100% positive that you cannot buy the discounted pass until you are in the system with "qualified" points. Hope that add on comes through soon!

Dang! I'll have to keep pestering my guide. Well, if it does come through at the last instant, at least it goes into my revised quickly.

In my experience, they will call you February 1 and magically the points have appeared. It's all about the UY

This is made even more likely by the fact that February is BLTs largest UY by a good margin. There are probably a bunch of contracts just sitting there waiting without any 2017 points in them.

I second GS at Disney Springs. We had a great experience here, much better than at any of the park GS windows. They take your name, you have a comfortable seat until called. You sit in an office (they have several) and chit chat with the CM while they handle your purchase or issue. Obviously this only works if you're going to be in DS anyway.

Ring them up to get the TIW card. Many reports of resale buyers getting it via this method. One guy just reported he rang and actually spelled out he bought resale post April 2016, and they still sold him TIW no problems.

DVC members don’t qualify to purchase over the phone. While some people have reported being able to, I suspect they qualified in other ways. I guess mistakes can be made, too. Regardless, I don’t believe the ability to purchase the TiW card is restricted by your resale status.

Someone just did it, he's very honest, said to them he bought post April 2016 ( too honest) , they said no problem. I've yet to hear anyone who has tried it being turned down.
