***Official December 2017 thread!

Last work day before Disney! 4 hours left of work and then seeing Star Wars! Only have some last minute things to pack and then I'm good to go!
 
2 hours left of work and then we hit the road headed to Disney!! Well, we will spend one day at "the dark side" then check into a Port Orleans Riverside royal room tomorrow night!!
 
Just added a dessert party to our itinerary for the 20th. We were stressing about fireworks spots since the park will probably be insane that day, so we figured we'd bite the bullet.

You will love this! It was worth every penny to have a reserved area to view the fireworks. I was blown away by HEA!

Great to hear. I want to take some good pictures with my tripod and camera so I figured having the reserved area guarantees a good angle.

Austin. They actually just updated us and said it’s only a 2 hour delay now, but it means we’ll miss our dining reservation unfortunately.

Welp, now back to a 4 hour delay.

6 days until Christmas, 8 days until Disney. I have not wrapped a single present or started packing yet. :scared:
 
Down to hours. 10 hours or less. If I can't sleep, it's :car::drive:

We start driving in 11 hours and I'm soooo not ready for the car portion of the trip (which will be a minimum of 20 hours each way.) I don't have any books downloaded to my tablet, I don't have a pattern and yarn picked out for a knitting project. GAAAAH! This month absolutely FLEW by and somehow I managed to miss getting my car plan in order. 4 days until Chef Mickey's!
 
Got through my last day of work. Christmas then Disney! I wish more people would post on here how their trip and plans went? It's been great following along for the past year!
 
Four more days!!!
Haven’t packed or finished organizing my plan.
What would be some good suggestions to help me not forget anything and make sure my girls, 8 and 12, have a great time? What should we take? It’s been almost six years since we last went.

Don’t forget things to do while waiting in line. We always like to bring a trivia card game where you can just hold the cards and ask the question. It’s easy and fun to play while standing in line! Also, bring a portable phone charger. You don’t want your phone to die halfway through the day. Have a great trip!
