Even More Speed - JetBlue

I've been trying to research Even More Speed at MCO and cannot find anything specific about experiences at MCO. Has anyone used this service recently and if you have, what were your thoughts? We usually fly out of MCO around 6 am and security lines have never been an issue. However, we have a flight in April that will leave MCO around 10 am.

Thanks.

We used to fly jetBlue all the time and used EvenMore speed. Now we usually fly Delta. (They are cheaper and for our upcoming trip in April we were actually able to book first class on Delta cheaper than Ever More Speed on jetBlue). But - I found that at our home airport (Boston) the EvenMore speed helped. At MCO it did not. There is a separate line for it but the way they funnel folks it made very little difference. We did use jetBlue Even More speed in December and we saved maybe 10 minutes. So if you are buying it for that - I personally don't think it's worth it.

It is inconsistent. Most times they let you use the TSA PRE line. However sometimes not. They did let me use it December 2017 and we were so fast so I booked for this weekend.

I would like to know this info aswell. Purchased this for all tickets for our upcoming trip.

Not worth it at all at MCO. The last time we used it was April of 2016. We were turned away from the pre check and directed to the mass of all the other people and told that Even More Speed allows you to go through the one line that was designated as the priority line for all of the airlines in the terminal. The lines were indistinguishable so we couldn't make it to that entrance as the mass of people wasn't letting anyone through as people all around us flipped out because they had not planned enough time for security and were going to miss their flights. I think there was such a mass of people they were letting anyone through that line to expedite people. Waste of money. Used it in Fort Lauderdale and it was wonderful. I will not pay for it at MCO, and just plan plenty of time for security.

uhg that sounds horrible :( guess i wasted 40$

I'm going to try it out. It's only available for us at MCO, so that's $20 total. If it's useless, lesson learned. Thanks for the responses, everyone.

As I recall, Even More Speed at MCO gets you in a special line to approach the point where they check your ID. You should get to the ID checkpoint faster than people in the regular lines. But once you get past the ID checkpoint, I believe your line gets mixed in with the people from the regular line.

September 2017. I had the same experience as Best Aunt. A separate line to get to the ID checkpoint and then the regular line after that all the way to the scanners. Didn't save much time...

If you fly often why not just pay the $85 for pre check for 5 years. It’s only $17 a year.

Because the closest place for the in person portion of pre check application is at the airport 90 minutes away and the office is never open when I'm flying (my flights are too early or too late).

Yes, we had a tiny office in the mountains of WV that we went to, Berkley Springs, WV. It was a 2 hour drive Each way. Still worth it. This tiny office services, WV, PA, MD, & VA. Still easier than driving to Dulles, bwi and Reagan and paying for parking at the airport.

I looked for that sign. We were in line start to finish 12-17 minutes. That was Monday 1/22 about 5pm. For us it was worth the even more speed.

I posted this in another thread, but I wanted to update this one as well since I asked the original question.

I just used even more speed out of MCO today. Fight was at 10:20 am. MCO was hopping and the security line wasn’t moving fast. Used even more speed line and we were through security in less than 5 minutes. Maybe we were just lucky and hit the airport security line just at the right time, but I’d purchase again. You do merge with main security, but I noticed our side was moving quicker than the other side.

This is helpful info, thanks to all who have posted. If anyone has more recent experience I'd love to hear about it. Just booked our flight today for travel over new years. I know MCO is usually packed, and am anticipating the Saturday after New Years to be no exception so I purchase "even more speed" for us on our flight home. Fingers crossed!!

We had even more speed two times this past year (2019) and never saw any sign for it at MCO. So I'm surprised reading this thread. We must have just missed the signage??? We assumed MCO just didn't have it. I honestly thought we even asked a worker but I guess not? Woops!
