Does anyone know roughly what time you should arrive to get in to watch Fireworks at Top of the World Lounge? The fireworks are at 9pm the night we would be hoping to go!

Thanks so much!

Last time I was there, December 2017, they had speeded up the process considerably. I'd get to BLT about a half hour early, just to get a good spot at the wall. Once you enter BLT, it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to get to the Lounge.

Last April i mistakenly thought the fireworks were at 10pm, but were really at 9pm, so after leaving the Wave at 8:45 we ran our way over to BLT and got up there just as they were starting. So you could make it with 15 minutes, but we were running. I'm sure you want a more relaxing stroll. I would say at minimum you should provided a half hour so that you can be checked in, wait and go up the elevator and stake out a spot.

Depends....do you want a table on the glass inside? Get there an hour or more ahead of time. Are you just looking for the observation deck to view fireworks? That could be as little as 10-15 minutes prior. Regular fireworks at normal nights....not usually an issue. Special fireworks like Halloween or Christmas party draw far more people.

I think ultimately we would want somewhere to watch, but would consider arriving early get close to the rail. We have an "off" day built in and the working plan is to go to Ohana for dinner. Due to party night we do not have a night in MK where we properly watch the fireworks, so thought heading over to BLT after Poly might be a good idea!

On a party night i would consider at least an hour ahead of time. Those are typically better fireworks..or at least different so people not in the parks like to view from the observation deck. While there....if you are looking to relax, head over 2 hours before, get a seat inside on the glass and have Mike the bartender take care of you. Tell him i said hi. He's always taken care of me since my first trip to BLT in 2011.

It would actually be a non-party night!
Ah....In that case, an hour ahead of time is usually fine. Each night is unique and when one night is dead, another can be busier....but on a regular fireworks night, you should be fine getting their an hour ahead of time.

That is sort of what we are thinking. We will probably try for a 5 or 5:30 reservation at Ohana and take the monorail right over to Contemporary!
