2019 Free dining released

I had a look today and was surprised at the lack of options for next year. We are going this August with five adults and booked OKW with free dining last year. Just looking today for next year and there is very little choice if we wanted to go again. Seems odd?

I thought the same!

I came on here to see what the crack was with the deluxe villa resorts. We wanted to get quotes for 2019 for SSR or OKW but they’re not there.

I’m hoping they come out a bit later?
 
I'm back on Disney and it's now £82 cheaper!! Oh I don't know what to do!! Lol.

Not been on this year's yet. 4 weeks to go. Whoop.

I did read an article and it said the number 1 way to plan a stress free Disney trip is to have the next one booked before you go. Haha.
 
We were hoping to book OKW for August 2019 but nothing came up. My husband then spoke to an agent who said we could only book DVC resorts 330 days out from the return date. My big concern is that as we won't be able to book until September we'll miss out on the free dining options. He's going to give them another ring but not very hopeful :worried:

I had a look at when we booked last year for this August. It was April 11th and I remember that OKW was definitely on the Disney site for booking. We actually phoned up and booked it eventually, so it must have been on the website before April 11th. It seems strange that they aren’t putting anything up now. I know that they couldn’t confirm before 330 days out but we still had the reserved place. Hhhmmm...
 
Does anyone know when the free dining offer ends? We booked 2 years ago with a provisional booking that was confirmed at the 330 day mark but at least managed to secure the deal with it. Shame they seem to have stopped doing this.

I'm new here but I have been following the forums for a while and waiting for the 2019 free dining offer.

Similar to a few on here I am also looking to book a Deluxe Villa Resort with free dining for 2019 so I was surprised when I went on the WDW website and found that none were available to book.

I have however had a look through the T&C on the website and found the following:

Free Dine Offer is available to book 19 April - 6 November, 2018 for selected arrivals and participating resorts 1 January - 7 April, 2019 and 26 April - 30 November, 2019. Free Dine is available to book in Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts for selected arrivals from 1 January - 7 April, 2019 and 26 April - 16 September, 2019 only.

It also states:

Participating Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts (for arrivals 1 January - 7 April, 2019 and 26 April - 16 September, 2019 only):

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's Boardwalk Villas, Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Please note, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts cannot be booked more than 330 days in advance of check-out date.

So this does confirm that free dining is available to book from now until 6th November 2018 and that Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts are part of the offer. However it does mention that Deluxe Villa Resorts cannot be booked more than 330 days in advance.

However what is then interesting is that for the $200 free gift card it states:

US$200 Disney Spending Money Offer:

Available to book 19 April - 3 July, 2018 for selected arrivals 1 January - 7 April, 2019 and 26 April - 30 November, 2019. Available at participating Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts for selected arrivals 1 January - 7 April, 2019 and 26 April - 16 September, 2019 only. Booking must include 5 nights' minimum stay at a Walt Disney World Moderate Resort Hotel or participating Deluxe Resort Hotel/Villa Resort.

So this means that although free dining is available to book until 6th November 2018 - the $200 gift card is only available on bookings made by 3rd July 2018. However it does state again that Deluxe Villa Resorts are available on this offer too.

Additionally on the main page it states that the following can be booked:

Disney Deluxe Villas
Self-catering resorts offering spacious accommodation and the conveniences of home.

14 nights at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort during summer holidays, including:
  • FREE Disney Dining Plan - stay two weeks to save £770 per adult!
  • $200 Disney Spending Money
  • 14-Day Ultimate Ticket for the price of a 7-Day, including FastPass+
  • Memory Maker worth $199
  • Includes Extra Magic Hours, MagicBands and more!

Suggesting that the $200 Disney Spending Money will also be part of the Deluxe Villa free dining package. To me this suggests that the Deluxe Villa Resorts will become available to book shortly otherwise the above is false advertising as it is stating that you can infact get free dining and $200 spending money by booking a Deluxe Villa Resort - but as it stands you can't actually book one.

Hopefully this is of help for some people - although I wish I knew when exactly the Deluxe Villa Resorts would become available to book.
 
Can’t believe it - still on a countdown to our Sept 2018 trip with just me and DH and we’ve gone and booked for 2019 with DD and her BF.

4 nights at Hard Rock followed by 10 at POFQ

Seems less costly for us this time as we are only paying half on acommodation.

accommodation, Dis & Universal tickets and budget for flights total cost of £7000 to £7200 split 4 ways

Never had two Disney bookings on the go before :)
 
Booked POFQ 8 nights next Sept 19’ for F&W & MNSSHP! Been considering my options for a long time, and the dining plan v room % but I think with QSDP for us will work our best/cheapest? Plus love the look of FQ, and wasn’t too badly priced compared to delxues which seemed super pricey this time??

Haven’t been since 2014, so lots of new things to check out!

Hoping to add 2-3 nights on at universal after, but will do that next year! Can’t wait! X

I understand from another site that someone called and was told that they wont be opening up DVC resorts for the offer until October this year... which is after the $200 gift card offer expires. The cast member advised that she book a resort "that she could live with" if she had to stay there just in case something changes and OKW and SSR don't get put in the offer in October after all, to secure the deal, and then call in October to change to SSR and pay the difference.
 
i wouldn't wait until october - i would keep checking...obsessively.....eventually they'll add OKW and SSR to the offer...

well you can stay calm and listen to what a not so well informed CM may have supposedly told someone, but i just checked disneyUK and OKW and SSR came up for me....so unless it's october right now, and i'm confused about the calendar, i wouldn't wait for october if i were you...

saying that clearly without the sarcasm - i just checked disney uk and both OKW and SSR were part of the offer... ...

I'm not waiting for it at all as it happens. I made a booking for the resort that I want over a week ago. I was just courteously answering someones question with the information available at the time.

Hi - which website did you find that on? I’ve tried disneyholidays.co.uk but for July 2019 it does not show Saratoga Springs anywhere?

i only use disney.uk.....i was looking at march 2019...
when i tried dummy dates after that i couldn't come up with SSR or OKW...
so it seems it will open up on a rolling basis and you'll need to check it every so often...
if march is available now, it seems perhaps that they're offering it 11 months in advance..
so if you want july 2019, maybe it will come up in august 2018?...
but i wouldn't bank on that...i would keep checking...
