That never bothers me. There was an older woman sitting near us singing softly, and I thought she was being completely respectful. But the girl behind us was screaming the words, doing the in between dialogue, talking to the person next to her loudly when there were no words or music, and trying to opera sing at certain parts. She clearly thought this made her a Disney expert, as she was bragging to her companion about how she knew the whole show. I just wish she had let everyone enjoy it with her...

Uggh this bugs me! I love that people know and love Disney attractions and want to be a part of it. But I think it's super rude and obnoxious when someone goes too far and ruins the experience for everyone else. There was a group of young adults that was in the same Haunted Mansion stretching room as us, and they obnoxiously shouted the whole ghost spiel, and it was super frustrating. Like, the ENTIRE thing. I feel bad for anyone who might have been in the room who was doing HM for the first time and that was their experience.

every picture I take looks the same so this time I kept them open until after the camera flash went off, but nope still closed.

:rotfl:

But in front of us in line there was a couple with twin babies and kid who was probably around 3-4, and one of babies decided he didn't want his pacifier because Josh's looked so much better :rotfl: He kept spitting it out, and pointing to Josh's toothpick, and Josh kept picking it up for the couple because they had their hands full. We were in line for about 15 mins, and the whole time the baby never took his eyes off that toothpick

Aww! That's so funny, and also adorable.

Cute sandals! And I love the Baby Groot bag!

That was probably the best and most thrilling ride on the Peoplemover :rotfl: We finally got to see Space Mt with the lights on, and it's oh so terrifying to think about riding it with tracks like that.

Yay! Glad you finally had this experience! But yes, also terrifying.

I told him he wouldn't be a very good Instagrammer :lmao: I did try to get them to spell my name correctly this time for the picture, but uh they still didn't so that's why it's not in the picture.

:rotfl: It must be a serious challenge to get people to spell your name right. I feel like mine is bad enough, but I bet it's even worse for you!

I also had bought a bunch of pins for the trip last year, and if you remember I wore exactly 0 of them :rotfl:

I had to cut myself off from buttons! I would order from Parkbound b/c she lived right by me and I would almost always get them the next day. Now she left her husband and moved to Orlando so that helped me quit the button habit, LOL

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Jean-Ralphio!!!

I hate when people do the HM spiel loudly. I can't help but do some of it, but always quietly. I hate obnoxious people who think it makes them look cool. It makes you look annoying, lady! Get a clue! If they annoyed me in the Tiki Room I'd be accidentally dumping my dole whip on her head.

Next we went to see some Country Bears Jamboree-ing

:dogdance::dogdance:

Because this is relevant to the next story. Josh has a habit of chewing on toothpicks from the restaurants. (I think it's because he'd been trying to quit smoking for awhile, although it seems to have worked because he hasn't in months now, yay!) That's the rebel baby of the set of twins! It wants to chew the stabby piece of wood, so I guarantee he will break his arm jumping off of something he shouldn't, lol

We got a Lefou's brew:

I don't remember them being so expensive before, but it came to like $6 and I felt like that was a lot  They were probably always that much, but I didn't realize. I like them, but I could never drink a whole one and Josh likes them more.

I don't remember it being $6 either! But I also am not good about paying attention to snack cost (which makes no sense b/c I am a cheapskate outside of Disney). I love LeFou's Brew but i never finish one by myself. I think I'd have a harder time throwing half of it away for $6! When Matt or the kids are around they'll just drink the rest.

and it's oh so terrifying to think about riding it with tracks like that.

Right? How do we not all have head injuries from whacking it on the track???

This was the PP one

I did not know there was a pp there now

I told Josh we had to take a picture of our Starbucks with the castle because that's what you do at Disney.

Of course!

Ooh, the sky is so pretty!!! I love the colors :lovestruc

Ugh, I dislike this a lot. I would have been sooo tempted to turn around and say something.

We always get a LeFou's Brew to share just to sit inside and take a break from the heat. I feel like they've usually been around $5 and some change.

I love the tank! I like this years merchandise more than last years. Of course I didn't buy any this year lol. But I should have bought the tank.

Yummy! I like how you got 2 candles!

When we got back to the hotel and were walking to our room, a CM in a golf cart drove up behind us/to the side of us. I clearly assumed the golf cart would run us down for some reason, and forgot the word for what it was so I grabbed Josh's arm and said "Get out of the way it's a mechanical vehicle". And we both thought that was hilarious since it sounded like I was from the early 1900's and had never seen a vehicle before :lmao:

Hahaha funny!

Love that tank and it looks so cute on you!!

The first thing we did at the park was upgrade Josh to his AP! We had been to the parks twice already, and hadn't had the time yet so I wanted to get it taken care of. Within just a couple minutes we had upgraded him back to AP status.

So exciting!

Fantastic picture!

Love the birthday dress!

"Get out of the way it's a mechanical vehicle".

That part of the movie was so funny

Wow talk about rude!

On that same note I hate when people audibly quote along in the stretching room

(I think it's because he'd been trying to quit smoking for awhile, although it seems to have worked because he hasn't in months now, yay!)

Congratulations! That's so awesome!

Oh wow so pretty!

I got that shirt on the Disney website after our trip last year, but it's through a company called Fifth Sun. They have tons of Guardians shirts, as well as other pop culture/Disney shirts if you're ever looking for a little more than the Disney website has.

I love fifth sun! They have such cute t shirts!

Thanks Cap! :rotfl:

I understood that reference too! :)

Haha, that's like when you feel embarrassed for someone...but I guess it's Disney and not the opera...so it could be worse.

I like them too but I always have to share. I guess when you share it's not that expensive, but yeah it's pretty pricey for one!

It's so cool being inside when the lights are on but I have not been on Space Mountain since I saw it that way, LOL.

Such a great picture of you!

The Disney walls thing too. I told him he wouldn't be a very good Instagrammer :lmao:

Hahaha, Steve is the worst instagrammer! He doesn't even remember his password. :rotfl:

We had a really unpleasant Tiki Room experience. The girl in back of me was literally singing/screaming all the words. I know we're all Disney fans, and who hasn't sung along with an attraction before?
How annoying. I would have been giving her eye rolls and nasty glances the whole time.

I tried to keep my eyes open for as long as I could this time! :rotfl: I always close them at some point before we hit the water, and every picture I take looks the same so this time I kept them open until after the camera flash went off, but nope still closed.
The same thing happens to me. I don't think I've ever had the eyes opened either.

Is that the mythical toothpick still in his mouth?

THEY WERE! I was so excited! (I have more video).

Love this! We experienced it once and it was so cool

We still had our Starbucks GC so we got some drinks. I told Josh we had to take a picture of our Starbucks with the castle because that's what you do at Disney.

I think I'm in the Josh camp and didn't realize we should be doing this too :-)

DD loves Fifth Sun she has a couple shirts from Kohls
Did you get that one directly from their website?
I never can keep my eyes open during the last drop on Splash
I mean it’s not like I don’t know I’m getting wet :rotfl:
I always block DD face on EE and 7DMT with my arms now that I think of it on ToT too :rotfl2:
Your so lucky to see SM with the lights on :cool1:

Hey @Raeven thanks for the TR here. Little late to party but reading thru it.

My family and I are doing a split stay with US/IOA and WDW this December. We are also staying at RPR and i have a couple questions.

You mentioned that your room wasn’t ready when you arrived but set up to get a text. Do you do this online? Or at the desk when arriving.

Also we have our park to park tickets purchased for the trip and will print them out before we leave. The EP is included if staying at RPR. When we arrive do we go and get our park tickets and EP tickets when we arrive Or are the Park Tickets EP tagged to your room key? How did you get your entry tickets and EP set up?

Other tips hints and advice at RPR?

Thanks for awesome TR

Last year's TR title!

Yep, I sure did :thumbsup2 ;)

Right?! I feel like if I'm paying that much for a drink, there'd better be alcohol in it :drinking1  I still get it though each trip...

But who knows who won? We don't count these :rotfl:

YAY!!!!!! It's awesome and terrifying at the same time, right?!
