It. Was. Brutal. And my first marathon. Getting through that was honestly one of the things that got me through the 2022 marathon. And 2023 was a breeze compared to those (weather wise). It can only get better, right? 😆

Decided to drive from BCV. Left my room at 3, parked at 3:10, wings lit and headed towards meetup!

C2C was always calendar year, which was weird to me they didn't align. I can definitely see an argument for them changing the season. I should have asked at the expo!

Sorry @Herding_Cats they either sold out or didn't have the generic one. Just the little cross body ($55) and the diaper bag ($145) are out. They do have a weekend themed water bottle one -- that is $45.

I'll run back in and look. Just chilling in my car waiting for the rest of the expo to open. The purple tee? It was going fast! I grabbed one of the last in my size.

On weekends with yoga, I think a lot of folks just go over directly from MK. I'm platinum and not leaving Beach Club until 7:45-8.

That was pretty epic. I also remember the lime green days. It would have also saved me from meeting up with the wrong group entirely pre-race a few years back. (I was still new to the IRL gatherings.)

Pro tip: When you have super short hair they just ignore you!

I'm checking in at Beach Club today and will ask about the ones they used to have around Crescent Lake. We own at BWV and afaik they haven't come back.

THIS! I was staying at Bay Lake and spectating the marathon. I headed over to MK on foot after the course had been cleared to get medal pics (from the other 3 races) and it was EMPTY! Had plenty of time to go back to the hotel, check my stuff with bell services for transfer and get to Epcot on...

Kind of? If you follow the graphic, rD actually starts the season with the summer virtual series and the first in-person races are DL Halloween. Those are 53 days before W&D, which is 66 from MW and definitely in the same season (though they have the Christmas virtuals inserted between there)...

I would think renewals will certainly move to later in the year. But the bigger question is whether runDisney is also realigning the race season to match the calendar year next year. With smaller gaps between races thanks to the return of DL (and possibly more of those being added), it would...
