Isn’t DL more of a local/regional park now? While WDW is a destination resort for people traveling from near and far? If so, then DL is not a big revenue source for a travel agency. Focusing on WDW may make more business sense for them.

I’m local with an Annual Pass, recently retired with lots of free time. My wife is still working and doesn’t like to visit WDW often anyway. So any solo visitors who would like to meet up to have company to wander the parks and/or have lunch please send me a note!

In the world of corporate BS they use the buzz phrase “value proposition” to describe what you get for what you pay. I agree with others here that the word “value” works well. And I’m so glad that I’m done with corporate life! 🤮

In mid-October we are flying into Houston Bush airport, then cruising with RCCL. Does anyone know the status of the Galveston port? Are things running semi-normal yet? Also, we plan to Uber from the airport to the port... does anyone have experiences to report on this? Recommended alternatives?

We did that boat ride during a RCL cruise last fall. Their dock is a 10-15 minute walk from the ship. Contact them by email with any questions. The ride was fun and our teens liked it, but I'd probably find something new to do next time.
