    MK strategy with no FP+

We had evening FP at AK because that's when I could get FoP, so we did the same thing on our last trip as far as rope dropping with no FP. Magic Kingdom is a great choice if you want to rope drop without FP. Lots of options there. I'd rope drop Peter Pan, then Pooh, then either the Carrousel...

    Arrival day HELP!

In my experience, you can plan to be in a park about three hours after your plane lands. Of course that just an estimate, but it has worked for me. I’d schedule your FP at 11:00, 12:00, and 1:00. Schedule them so they make sense location wise, but also try to put them in order from least to...

MK "Happily Ever After" Dessert Party (Parties) Discussion

A couple of days ago, I canceled ours for this Sunday. I figured if we decide we want to do it, we will book it day of, as it doesn't seem to be selling out. We might check out the viewing situation one night and book the party for a night toward the end of the trip if it seems unmanageable.

    Really stupid FP+ question

Also, Dumbo fits three across. You can all ride together if you want to. I believe every ride that you could take a 1.5 year old on will accommodate all three of you sitting together. There are only a few rides that only seat two across.

Multiple experience fastpass question, 4th fastpass

If you get a multiple experience FP, you can go ahead and schedule another FP right away in its place. The multiple experience FP exists outside of your three FP. I think you're pretty lucky, because that one should be good for FEA, whereas most are not, and I *think* you can schedule another...

Kilimanjaro Safari - Sunset or Dark?

We rode in the dark in March, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much we DID see. I guess going in with zero expectations helped, but except for the fact that you can't take pictures, it was enjoyable.

Rock N Roller Coaster and Expedition Everest

RnR has no big hills. It goes upside down three times, I believe. If you sit in the front, it is very smooth. It is a ton of fun! EE has some hills, but but they are not the high, straight drops of truly big coasters. EE can make me feel a little nauseous on an empty stomach, I think from...

AK - dinoland and Asia strategy

Also, I wouldn't do Kali first, unless you are riding with ponchos. I'd do it on your way out of the park, or during the hottest part of the day. You can get drenched to the underwear on that ride, and being that wet first thing in the morning isn't fun in my book.

AK - dinoland and Asia strategy

If you are rope dropping, I would go ahead and do Na'vi (unless you don't have anything else to use that FP for.) Then you can move on to the rest of the park, which should still have low waits. The first Nemo show is generally at 11:00, so if you keep your ADR at 11:15, the soonest you will...

    Park maps

You can't order them online anymore. You can still get them in the parks. The maps with the cheat sheets on easywdw are great if you want to print something at home. They are much easier to read than the actual maps you get at WDW. I print those and bring them.

Question for those that have used a rollaway for 5th person...

It was really tight with a roll away at HRH, and we had to call twice to get one brought up. We are staying there again in June, and booked a deluxe room with a pull out couch. The roll away bed is likely more comfortable, but I'm hoping the extra space is worth the extra cost.

Multiple FP for same ride, same day?

We have five, and I usually do 3 and 2 also-- just for harder to get rides. I'll book the 3 first, then the 2, and then try to modify the times if needed. To Telecomguy-- it usually isn't bad, unless you are trying for a very difficult ride.

Ticket vs. annual pass... seems too good to be true

Thank you to all who have shared! This thread has helped me a lot! I'm going to try to upgrade my tickets to APs. I don't know if we will be back, but if it doesn't cost me anything, might as well.

Could we do a park on arrival night?

I agree. Three hours is about what it takes from plane landing to in the park, if you take Magical Express. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but usually that's pretty accurate. Where are you staying and do you have kids with you? Unless park hours are extended, you won't have enough time...

    Toy Story Land Fastpasses

You did. BatB is tier one (strangely enough) and ToT is tier two.

To add Parkhopper or not add parkhopper...

Non-party nights at MK are supposed to be very crowded. You may not want to hop there in the evening. However, if you really DO want another evening in MK, you could switch either your HS or your AK day to your party day. Do AK/HS in the morning, party at MK at night, and then whatever day...

Bachelor/Bachelorette parties and Group Drinking at Epcot

The only time I've seen similar situations is in World Showcase on a Saturday night. Now I try to avoid WS in the evenings in general, but especially on the weekends. I don't mind people drinking/having fun, but when you have your kids with you, and there are bottlenecks at certain points...

Does your Magic Band fall off?

My son lost a Boba Fett one he had purchased. Of course it was once he bought, and not one we got with our room... It was never recovered. We have since received out AP sliders and use those, but I love the clear hairband idea.

For those who are freaking out about getting SDD or FOP

Those are much better times for FoP than I had for 6/9 which for me was 60+4! The earliest I could get was between 3 and 4.
