    Overnight Parking by Disneyland

The lot at the Sheraton is about $20 and pretty easy in/out right off Harbor. I'm 99% sure you don't need to be a guest to use it as they have a ticket dispenser and pay booth.

Understanding AP Blockouts and Impact on Crowds

Watch the app starting Sunday through Thursday, the park is going to be a zoo next week.

Any tips for lining up at turnstiles?

The single lines usually choke off access to these magical empty turnstiles making it a chore to access without it looking like you're cutting in line. Also, I think most people in the single line assume it will spread to the two turnstiles once the gate is opened. There is so little space...

How far is the walk.. and tips

Yes, we got to do everything we wanted. One goal was GOTG and the hoppers allowed us to start our Monday at DL and hop over to DCA at 9:30 to get a fastpass for a late afternoon ride. This was after going on Star Tours, Buzz, Matterhorn, Autopia, and Space Mountain at DL. We then tackled...

    When do you enter park?

I'm surprised by a lot of these responses. Based on the typical advice, you'd think everyone showed up at least 30 minutes before RD. I think a lot depends on what you want to do. To me the first hour is critical to how the rest of the day will play out. Spending 30 minutes in line outside...

    The park today - 6-18-17

I hate to give you some bad news, but Sunday (6/25) may be crowded. I was reading another thread and it mentioned how Wed - Sat this week is a SoCal AP blockout, then 25-29 it's open, then blocked out the rest of summer.

How far is the walk.. and tips

Don't discount those late night hours at DL. Someone mentioned doing Pirates early because of lines. I somewhat disagree. Pirates is a 10 minute ride. Waiting in a short line plus those 10 minutes is a lot of time to "lose" in the morning. Pirates is a virtual walk on after 11PM. So is...

3 days-To hop or not to hop?

Hop. We always get hoppers. Our last trip we stayed at DLH and took full advantage of EMH. By mid morning we were ready to hop. I imagined what it would be like to be captive in the one park all day and can't say it appeals to me at all. Now if you're strolling in a 10-11am, then one park...

Has there been any announcement about the reopening of the river and train?

Happy about the trail but two summers in a row with no boats, island or RR is too long.

Big Thunder Trail, re-opened Today! 6.8.2017

Great timing since we're leaving on Sunday. Thanks for posting.

    LMT Club

I'll be using tickets on Monday. Not a big issue, but it can take a bit to get your tickets via email. It took about 36 hours to get mine. They come as a pdf from a LMT email address. Based on the many reviews, I'm not worried about the legitimacy.

    Guardians Help Please

Does the FP line die down at all? I see a reference above to a 10 minute wait at 8:30. Anyone experience just a couple minute wait or is there a constant line until they're gone?

    GOTG FP Lines

I've read a bit about how they are queuing up the FP line prior to rope drop but I see FP's are still available for 2-3 hours after the park opens. Once the initial rush dies down, how are the FP lines? If the park opens at 8AM, how is the FP line at 9AM? We'll be there next Tuesday and my...

    Pool cabanas at the GCH

The phone is just a house phone. There are servers who handle the cabanas and from what I could tell they are exclusive to the cabanas, which is nice. We had a full day and were the only ones with a cabana in the AM, which meant the server was around whenever we wanted. In the PM when the...

Where are you staying on your next Disneyland Trip and Why?

Checking into the Disneyland hotel on Sunday and staying for 8 nights. We stayed there two years ago after a few stays at HoJos and I'm not sure we can go back to Harbor now. The pools are great, proximity to DTD, relatively close monorail access, and the biggest perk of all being early entry...

To Magic Morning or not to Magic Morning

Use your MM. Unless you value sleep more, there is no reason to avoid it. You'll be able to FP RSR each full day of your trip at least once. If you really want to do rope drop at DCA on Thursday, then hit FL during MM for at least a couple rides and then head on out around 7:30-7:40 for DCA.

    Pool cabanas at the GCH

Thank you. I think I'll stop by the Guest Service desk in advance just to be sure. I don't want any surprises. Thanks for the pics too. It's getting close and my usual months of planning is being crammed into a couple days now. We talk about how we've been planning this trip for two years...

    Pool cabanas at the GCH

I read that you could in various threads so decided to ask when I was booking. We're staying for 8 nights so thought it would be nice to mix things up for a day. The CM I spoke with was not sure so she asked a supervisor and came back and said it was not a problem and confirmed the...

    Pool cabanas at the GCH

What is the process of claiming your cabana? We're staying at DLH and have a cabana reserved at GCH in a couple weeks. My only concern is where do we check in on the morning of the rental and if it's inside the pool area, will we have an issue because we do not have GCH keys?

Is it okay to take a baby...

Just use your best judgement. Kids are expected at a lot of places in Disneyland you might not normally take them elsewhere. As for any bar areas in general, I certainly wouldn't belly up to a bar with a stroller in tow or even a child as I feel that's a bit disrespectful to others. In my...
