    Haven’t been since 2018 and I have pre-trip jitters!

Not sure if this is the place to post, but hoping someone can help put my mind at ease. After a canceled babymoon due to the flu in 2019, and a canceled trip in 2020 due to the pandemic, my family and I are vaccinated (except for the toddlers) and heading down to WDW in a couple of weeks! I've...

April 2021 trip report - apprehensive but loved it!

Thanks for posting! We're traveling as a multigenerational party in a couple of weeks and I'm quite nervous - first trip as a parent - but it helps to hear your experiences.

    The Jackie Gailey Appreciation Thread!

Just wanted to post to spread a little pixie dust and let @WebmasterJackie know how much I've enjoyed watching you on the shows lately! I love the perspective you bring - positive, but thoughtful- and you seem to have great rapport with the guys, while still holding your own. I loved this week's...

Just Back 5/9-5/13: Wonderful Trip to Yacht Club - here are the highlights!

@mamamelody2 yes, highly recommend L'Artisan des Glaces! Whenever our "next time" is, I would love to go there more than once so I can also try one of their ice cream sandwiches with either a macaron or brioche roll, while still reserving one visit for a classic cone :-) @disneyfreak202 This...

Just Back 5/9-5/13: Wonderful Trip to Yacht Club - here are the highlights!

We had a blast combining old and new, parks and relaxation. Here are the new-to-us highlights, in no particular order... Yacht Club: DH and I just got back from our first stay at the Yacht Club (and first time staying in the Epcot area), and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! We...

Late Arrival to Typhoon Lagoon - Huge Disadvantage

Agree with this! We didn't get there until around noon a few days ago, and maybe it was a fluke, but crowds were low even during the heat of a 90+ degree sunny day, and we had a fantastic time. Hope you have a great trip :-)

    Here now - 5/9--5/11

Ha cool! Will check it out. So many people seemed to be walking around with go pros- wonder if I saw him!

    Here now - 5/9--5/11

Oh also, the security lines at MK last night around 6/6:30 were longer than we expected. Typhoon Lagoon was a breeze yesterday though, even though we got there around noon!

    Here now - 5/9--5/11

The only time the crowds have really felt significant to me was last night in Magic Kingdom. Rope dropping AK for EMH was the best thing we could have done. We stayed until about 1, then headed back to the resort until 7 or 8. Then again, the weekend is starting, and I know Friday nights in the...

    Here now - 5/9--5/11

Wow you’ve done so much! We’re also here now at the Yacht Club for the first time and couldn’t love it more. We also rope dropped animal Kingdom on Thursday which was great because we didn’t have a FOP FastPass otherwise. Glad you’re having a great trip too!

8:15 Dinner Res at The Plaza...

Well, sure enough, I was sitting waiting for my adr at Chefs de France, checked the app, and snagged a 6:50, which fits our plans perfectly! Now if only I’d had such luck with Flight of Passage... oh well, guess a girl’s gotta rope drop once in a blue moon!

8:15 Dinner Res at The Plaza...

Thanks for your reply! Yes, likely our only opportunity this trip- slight chance we could see another night but would have to be from outside the park since we don’t have park hoppers this trip. I’m sure we’ll be back in another year or two with a better planned trip- this was a hastily planned...

8:15 Dinner Res at The Plaza...

My husband and I planned a fairly last minute trip, and will be in the Magic Kingdom this coming Friday night. We'd like to try the Plaza for dinner, but with an 8:15 reservation, is there any chance we'll be done by the time fireworks start at 9:00? If not, do they let you step onto the patio...

    Chefs De France

I went there 2 years ago and really enjoyed it - best french onion soup on property! We're going again next week as well :-)
