Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

Just the once many years ago. It was fine. Nothing incredible, not even the desserts. I’m not sure how … pleasant it would be with a 4 year old given one of the joys of a buffet is taking your time, etc.

I wouldn't worry too much. With a four year old, you'll likely be moving at a more leisurely pace anyway. And perhaps needing some impromptu breaks if it all gets a bit overwhelming (for anyone in your party). I would budget for however many Premier Access tickets you can afford, aim to see the...

    Japan Itinerary-May 2024

Some hotels have laundromats, referred to as "coin laundries". The hotel website should list whether they do or not. I think coin laundries are also relatively common in most built-up areas (which is a lot of Japan). We've only ever used the hotel ones, but I would imagine the others are...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

That's my understanding. There will be no "unticketed" line because you can only access Fantasy Springs if you hold one of the three available tickets. The lines will be: Fantasy Springs passport holders, Premier Access ticket holders and Standby Pass holders (except for Tinkerbell's buggies for...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

We didn’t have any issues in July 2023. We ate outside of the main eating times, maybe 11am for lunch and 5pm for dinner, but even on the days when we missed those times, it was still okay. I think one day it did take us … maybe 5-ish minutes to wait for a table at the Hungry Bear restaurant...

Thanks! We saw Peter Pan on our most recent trip, but didn't see Rapunzel at all (although Cinderella and Belle were greeting guests).

Who knows? Hopefully after June, we'll all have a better idea. It will make planning very tricky. Who would want to, for example, grab a Standby Pass for Tinkerbell's Buggies at 11am and a Premier Access ticket for Rapunzel at 5pm if that means you're "trapped" in Fantasy Springs for six hours...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

I thought the FAQ clearly stated that you couldn't re-enter, even with a valid, later Premier Access ticket or Standby Pass: Once you leave Fantasy Springs, you will not be allowed to re-enter Fantasy Springs even during "the valid time of entry to Fantasy Springs". If you have an unused...

    Australia/NZ Cruises

That was my experience on the Wonder down under in December. I overheard many people talking about cancelling the tips while waiting in line for character meets and every single time I lined up at Guest Services (to get a paper copy of the daily itinerary), there were people in line waiting to...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

Oh, I could be wrong. I just referred to it as the BATB theatre because its next to the BATB castle and was part of the BATB expansion. I can't recall any explicit theming tying it to BATB, other than the general provincial French village aesthetic. This indicates its more generally themed to...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

For Mickey's Magical Music World, we lined up for the first showing of the day which is all standby. For Big Band Beat, we had luck winning the lottery AFTER purchasing the "Premier Access" for Sea of Dreams. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but if we tried for an Entry Request /...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

We purchased Premier Access (or whatever it was called) for Sea of Dreams at DisneySea and didn't believe it was worth it. The only space available was under a speaker and it was uncomfortably loud. And it was standing room only - they didn't ask the people in the "front" to sit down. And, as...

    Japan visit?

https://tdrexplorer.com/when-should-you-visit-tokyo-disney-resort/ https://www.disneytouristblog.com/tokyo-disneyland-crowds-tips/ I like May after Golden Week, but October / November is also nice (albeit potentially busier with the attraction of Halloween theming, merchandise, etc). If...

    Totoro Forest

No. I think we ran out of time after the caves, etc? I don’t have any other day trip suggestions as we tried to minimise any big day trips when we travelled with our 2.5 year old. We’re considering Mt Takao or Mt Mitake for our next trip later this year.

    Totoro Forest

Pre-kids, we didn’t enjoy Enoshima very much. I personally wouldn't have it on my list with a toddler. The cave/s, lookout tower, etc were okay, but not really worth the travel time for us.

    Totoro Forest

I'd consider doing a shorter day trip, perhaps to Mt Takao, and seeing how that goes. If it goes well, perhaps go ahead with the Totoro Forest day trip? Maybe try asking on r/ghibli at Reddit too?

    Totoro Forest

Your toddler may be different to mine, but I know that mine would vastly prefer the Studio Ghibli Museum over a forest. This may help: https://tdrexplorer.com/studio-ghibli-merchandise-japan/
