    Stepping out of rides

The plexiglass dividers may protect us from Covid but it caused me to fall on Frozen. No place to grab. Haven’t been on since. Thought about asking for front row. Not sure if that will help. May never get to go to Arindale again.

Has anyone ever taken a nap on purpose in first aid at the parks?

First Aid was not too kind when I needed to lay down for a few minutes one day. They let me us a wooden shelf with no pillow. I was not impressed. I tend to catch a short nap in an attraction like Hall of Presidents.

    Charging/outlet locations?

If going to EPCOT, Land pavilion has a lot of plug in spots. Many are in the food court walls. Great spot to charge and eat.

    First Aid Stations

I had a very bad experience at First Aid in Studios last year. We had been in the park for many hours in high heat and humidity. I became very light headed and needed to rest in AC. Went to First Aid and asked to lie down. They rudely told me to go back to our hotel. I told them we were headed...

Is Epcot on a weekend during F&W terrible?

Food and wine turns into drink and barf on long weekends. We avoid all weekends and try to be out of World Showcase befor 3:00 pm weekdays.

I still say they are fine. I would use them still if I did not own my own scooter.

Food and Wine and Epcot Sunday Crowds

During the early part of the day Sunday, crowds were not bad. Later in afternoon and evening it got much busier. However, the crowd was not as roudy as it was on Friday and Saturday night. I would go early and get as much of EPCOT as possible. Then take the break and only go back only if you...

    Basket size on ECVs?

Walker mobility is the largest in the basket department (in my opinion). Some vendors have rental baskets that can be added to the back of the seat. I would be concerned that a rear basket would upset the scooter’s balance on inclines.

Need to rent an ECV, which company to choose?

We are in the parks now. The Buena Vista scooters are now carrying their charging cords in a pouch on the back of the scooters. Not sure that inspires confidence about their reliability. Also have seen a lot of BV scooters plugged in around the parks. Makes me wonder? It also appears to make...

Scooter flipped over on boat dock

Did you have a bag on the back of the scooter? When I am carrying my husband’s camera and camera equipment on my scooter, and I back off the monorail, I have nearly flipped. Husband now stays behind and leans on scooter back as I back off.

    Rivers of Light

ROL is strange. To me, it has no real story, just a theme. I find it boring. It does have good music. I enjoy Illuminations greatly. If you want the early show, you will need a fast pass. It fills to capacity quickly. The later show appeared to have less folks in the stands.

    Pin trading

Disney Studios has a contest going in which cast members can win prizes for most trades, best trade, etc so pin trading is hot there. It was much slower at the other parks.

    Outlets for Recharge

Another trick Disney is using on charging is to have three hole outlets when my charger takes two. Most devices take two also. I carry a three/two converter now. Most cell phone users won’t want to carry an extra plug. Where as ECV users have more space for little extras. We are at WDW now...

    Buena Vista Scooters Damage Waiver

I buy it. It paid a claim for me one time.

    Scooter insurance?

I always get the extra insurance from Walker Mobility. I was pushed by a group of young people into a flowerbed at AK. Scooter was damaged and I had to call for a new one. The insurance covered all damage to drive belt and broke plastic. I would not be without it.

Scooter in the rain tips needed!

Before you get to the parks, read up on which attractions are inside and take more than ten minute to see. That way if a sudden FL storm comes up, you know where to hid from the rain. My rain favorites are EPCOT-sea, land, and American Adventure. Scooter goes inside with you. Magic Kingdom...
