    Disney Summer Internships

This isn't necessarily true. There are a couple of the professional internships that are just for the summer--it depends on the department.

Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout

This is so accurate! And a large part of the reason that I'm very frustrated with the current management at WDW. The parks were built on creative rides, built with innovative technologies--things you couldn't find anywhere else. The rides such as PotC and Haunted Mansion will be favorites for...

Chip & Dale Movie being planned.

There's still hope for this movie! I was asked to do a survey for Disney, and it asked (out of a list of ideas), which movies I'd be excited to see. A Rescue Rangers live-action movie was one of the options. Fingers crossed!

    News Round Up 2016

Might not be the best word for it, but I'm actually kinda excited that Alice in Wonderland isn't doing very well. I'm just not a big fan of sequels in general, as I always (except for Toy Story) find them inferior to the original movie. I really don't like this new Pixar trend of all sequels...

    News Round Up 2016

I think Disney does this because it's an easy way for them to make money. Why throw in high-margin things when they can sell out their ridiculously-priced events with just a free breakfast?

    Reality Check Please :)

I'm kind of in the same scenario; currently in college, but wanting to pursue a career at WDW (specifically Imagineering) I've always wanted to do the DCP, but I'm thinking of putting it off until the year after graduating because my college won't accept credit from the DCP, and I don't want to...

Loved reading your previous trip reports and am very excited to follow this one! Surprising your moms sounds so exciting, and I can't wait to see what else is in store

What would you change at WDW?

What's with this trend of people hating Jungle Cruise? It's such a fun attraction, and I don't see how people find it uninteresting, unless they just don't have a sense of humor

Which retired attraction do you wish you could have ridden?

Horizons would definitely be my #1 choice, but I'd also love to experience the original versions of Figment and Snow White's Scary Adventures

is Jungle Cruise the worst ride at MK?

I love the Jungle Cruise! Definitely one of my favorite rides in the MK, and top 10 in all of WDW imo

Trip Report ABD Dis-Exclusive Southern California Dec 13-18, 2015

I am loving this trip report! I hadn't even known about this ABD tour before joining here, and it sounds like the most magical trip ever. Hope I'll be able to do it one day

Dole Whip - I've been missing out

I also discovered Dole Whip on my most recent trip to WDW. Can't believe I was missing out for all these years!

Walt Disney's Signature collection: Snow White released 01/19/2016..

What's the difference between this and the last edition of Snow White that was available for purchase?

Should the Great Movie Ride change the gangster scene?

The Great Movie Ride, despite being an iconic attraction, is very dated. Most of the scenes haven't been updated since the ride's original opening, and I don't think most park guests know about movies such as Footlight Parade, among others I agree with the OP! Some children might be frightened...

    .

Although it is somewhat convenient to plan ADR's before you actually get there, I think the current system is kinda crazy! Some restaurants book up 180 days in advance, and it's pretty much impossible to just walk up to a restaurant, which can be frustrating if you don't plan your vacation 6...

Annual Reading Goal Challenge for 2016 - Come and join us!

I highly recommend Red Rising to anybody that is a fan of fantasy/sci-fi. It's in the somewhat cliche dystopian genre, but it's geared towards adults with lots of character development and mature themes. The world building of the author (Pierce Brown) is incredible, and it really feels like...

    Underrated Disney characters?

Definitely Meg from Hercules! She's a fantastic character, but almost never present in the Disney parks. Everybody from Hercules is pretty underrated imo (including Hercules, Phil, Pain, and Panic); Hades is one of the best villains, but I've never seem him around the parks either Other...

    Basic Information

Would I be allowed to take a semester off of school to participate in the DCP? I'd need to take at least 12 credits to stay enrolled as a student, and I don't think I'd be able to do it while participating in the DCP
