    Restaurant recommendations for Escape wedding

I suggest the Yachtsman Steakhouse! You can walk to it from SBP or take the ferry! And I believe from Carrie’s book that they have a semi private dining space that can accommodate 16 people! I think that would be a beautiful transition!

Ohhhhhh! Wow! That seems so unethical lol! Considering the ceremony is already costing $15k. Thank you so much for answering all my questions!

Private Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom

Thank you! But what I don’t get is the meal part. Like is the food setup at the train station or you have to pay those minimums regardless of what location is lunch?

Private Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom

Speaking of $18k... how does it work for MK... based on my calculations for MK... it would be $15k for F&B and $35K min enhancement right? But is that whole area closed off to you?!?! Does anyone have actual pictures of this...

Private Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom

I have the passporter book and didn’t see anything on MK. Can you have a private dessert party at MK? This is the deal... I would LOVE a wedding at either train station or gardens but can’t afford the price tag LOL! So I was thinking a Wedding Pavillion ceremony (afternoon) with lunch at...

    Making it Snow

Omg! I would so love a castle wedding but that’s out of budget I even contemplated the train station but out of budget too closest thing to castle is the pavilion. I wish disney would make the East Plaza Garden or Train Station much more affordable. Total dream would be the Gardens (I would def...

    Making it Snow

Hi! Just finished watching the DFTW Holiday Magic show and was wondering if anyone has inquired on snow? I’m leaning towards a January/February wedding with Wedding Pavilion and Italy Isola for reception but was wondering how much Disney would charge to make it snow in Italy?!?! That would be...

    Disney Reception Locations

Thank you! I think we are going to steer away from Poly and maybe do a resort session there instead. Thank you Lurkyloo but my consultant said that space is no longer available as an option. I had first read about it on your passporter and inquired immediately but they said it's no longer in...

What's the best value resort for WDW bus transportation ?

I think the POP Resort because if I'm not mistaken the Allstars is the same bus for Music, Sports and Movies. Art of Animation too but I've never really considered this one a value.

What makes a deluxe resort deluxe?

For me it's the amenities and transportation of deluxe. I feel they immerse you into themes and with the exception of AKL all other deluxe have multiple forms of transportation to the parks. My go to Deluxe is always YC because of their amazing pool and things to do at night. Their pool has a...

Polynesian Club Level vs Regular Room

I agree with most guests - if you plan on spending much of your stay in resort then it "may" be worth it but the food def doesn't not compensate for meals. It is a great option though for drinkers or people who don't spend much time at the parks. If I were you I would spend the money on dining...

    BC or YC?

It depends what you like - I have done both YC and BC and prefer YC. BC is a lot brighter and airy while YC is a little bit more of a cozier feel with dim lighting. However, YC was our most favorite resort until Room Renovations. While the new wood floors are gorgeous it takes away sooo much...

    Resort check in

Our room has always been ready at check in with the exception of times when we get there and don't like our assigned room. They happily will accommodate us but request we wait a bit until it's ready. The two times it has happened though I got my room at 3pm and the other time it was close to...

Disney in 3 days, Resort hopping help!

If you have a hard time parking at Poly - I would park at Wilderness Lodge and take boat to Contemporary and then ride the monorail through Poly and Grand Floridian. You get a fun ride through the four resorts and get to check them all out on foot!

Heartbroken Disney Bride....PSA to all future Disney brides

I'm so sorry you are going through this.. would you be willing to move your wedding date to the new year? Maybe your consultant would be able to do this seeing as it's been so frustrating. My advice for this issue to all future brides is that book your rooms way before you even talk to a...
