Anyone know the pricing for a 2 Adult 2 Kid week of tickets only at EP? I know at WDW you can get discounts on longer stays with tickets. We would like to throw in a couple of days at Rulantica also. However, it seems they only offer tickets that are 2 days long.
Just looking at the (not so) new Genie system after years of FP. To be sure I understand, we are now expected to wake up EVERYDAY at 7 am and start playing with our phones??
Very useful info! Thanks so much for that post! One of the things I noticed in the EU is that unlike the USA, there is a huge difference between a 4 and 5 person family in terms of price and even availability for hotel rooms
Sorry to hear about the dolphins : ( I actually swam with one once and I'll never forget it - incredibly playful, intelligent and sweet creatures. Asterix does look very nice at least on youtube with a good mix of rides for our little ones. It is also so close to DLP that we could probably stay...
I understand.. EP does seem much bigger and has other options outside the parks as well (waterpark, VR ride etc). In fact, we have never been to any theme park in the EU ever. DLP is a 'must do' for the kids and when I saw E.P. on youtube it looked like a lot of their rides were a just a wee bit...
Asterix seems very close, but efteling seems a longer haul. Maybe I am being too ambitious and will just stay in France , shorten the trip to 7-10 days and save a few dollars.
In fact if we only do Asterix & DLP we could probably stay onsite and skip the rental car completely - just relying on...
Very intersting idea and worth considering. I should have also mentioned we were considering also a trip to Gardaland with the car, but perhaps this is too ambitious? It seems some type of car service (like they have in Florida) that has van service could work also..
Hey there! We are 5, considering private shuttle (the train(s) are definately out since we have 2 small kids plus an elderly grandparent). Yeah Rulantica is something we want to try also along with the VR attraction ('youlbe'?). I thought the rental car prices seemed reasonable - maybe cheaper...
I wanted to start a thread featuring DLP and E.P. . Particularly the best strategies to see both parks since (by American standards at least) they are not too far apart.
Our plan is to land somewhere near Rust (Frankfurt, Strasbourg not sure), rent a car and stop at E.P. (if anyone has some...
I can`t believe such a simple thing is so complicated.. It was my dream to step off a plane in Miami, hop on a Disney train and be off to WDW. How could they drop this? At least bring back Magical Express while we're all waiting! :sad1:
I agree Fitness.. It doesn't seem right to me to expect me to pay the premium for an official DLP hotel and then not offer a shuttle service to guests, I thought the whole popoint of an ofccicial hotel was to chck in, and then feel like your inside 'the bubble' where you never have to leave...
Let me start by saying I have NEVER been to E.P. and what I say is based only on the small time I have started looking into this. That said, Kronosar seems to have 2 downsides (although 1, which I will note later, seems 'cancelled out' by location).
1- most obvious - distance. The whole point...
Hey Karin,
I figure 4-5 days in EP, and then 4-5 at DLP. In this way I can justify flying : ) We have never been to DLP or E.P. and normally to WDW we go at least 2.5-3 weeks. It seems based only on my short time of research that a week at DLP is pushing it, so I thought why not try to add on...
Is it too ambititous? We are thinking of flying in to Germany's Europa Park, then taking a train, bus or some type of paid shuttle (if it exists) to DLP. I prefer not to rent a car if possible. Is this too much for one trip?
How can this be? If it is an official Disney Hotel and part of DLP why don't they have some type of transportation to the parks - even a paid one? It is hard to believe frankly..
