I thought there was a guy who did a bunch of rides during the marathon this year? I could be mistaken but he even had a Guardians VQ, he did as much as you could feasibly do during the race. Trying to see if I can find him again.

Yeah I was trying to figure out the closure time from last year's thread and wasn't having much success, was worried that it either closed earlier or there might be too much of a line building up by the time I'd get there. This is definitely doable.

I ran into a delay for Slinky and I suspect it's due to something similar. Early morning (pre-opening) rain, got in line and they were testing the ride while I was in line, ended up delaying opening for about 20 min.

Seems to be some news coming out early today (well not early in Paris): Walt Disney Studios Park is now named Disney Adventure World.

FWIW Guardians, which had a Memorial Day weekend opening, announced that date on April 4. That came with cast and AP previews leading up to the official opening.

I had the opposite take, because something interesting happened yesterday: this is the first time recorded that the half was the *last* race to sell out for MW. I was about to make a joke about how this year's race turned people off but I thought it was too soon. 😬
