How do these resorts know that they are from the DIS? Shouldn’t the DIS team members try to go under the radar to do a review? I am curious about this, not blaming anyone.

I am sure the vast majority of DVC owners see this as a welcome amenity whether they would ever use it or not. Much better than something being taken away. The way I see it, if I need to worry about how many towels someone else uses than perhaps I should rethink owning a timeshare. JMO

I think the difference in the charge for T&T and getting extra towels at no charge is during T&T service they actually take away the used towels and replace with fresh ones hung up or placed in their original spots. I’m sure with the extra free towel package they would just hand you the towels...

My husband and I both received new cards today! After unsuccessfully ordering through website in January and not receiving anything, we both called Member Services and ordered cards through them. I ordered through Member Services in late March and my husband ordered a week or so later.

Wow, that seems like something the broker should have made very clear to the seller. Personally, I would not agree to pay any 2018 dues on principal alone. Unreasonable seller, so who knows what they would try to pull next. I would let this contract go if it were me.
