Zero Enforcement of Dress Code @ Palo

I love a good ball gown, but I don't think I've worn one (aside from my wedding gown) since my friend's black tie wedding 15 years ago (and it was my old senior prom dress)...but when I wear a ball gown, I wear a ball gown, we're talking cupcake dress with taffeta and everything. I'm not packing...

How can I get a copy of my onboard charges?

I think something funky must be going on because it's not even showing me my cruise history.

    Food & Wine dates announced!

The first day is usually a zoo with all the bloggers. I've been in Epcot for the first day of flower and garden and it's a little hectic.

2 nights before cruise: where to stay!?

If I'm doing a resort stay, I'd probably do Coronado? Lots of dining on the resort. I like Pop, but if I'm not going to the parks, I want something more than a value.

    Food & Wine dates announced!

The dates are more in line with where they were pre-COVID.

Castaway water temps - Mid Nov vs Late Feb

I've never been in middle of November, but we did end of February. Let's just say you could tell who came from a cold weather climate and who didn't by who was in the water. It was chilly when you first got in, but I got used to it. Helped that it was about 80 degrees and sunny out.

    Why is Poly so expensive

The only way we swing the Poly was using our refund from a 2020 trip that didn't happen and rolling it into the Poly stay. Maybe not the most financially sound decision I've ever made, but the vacation ranks as one of my favorites. The Moana refurb was very well done and probably feeds into...

    Dining Rotation

I'm not aware that your muster station necessarily has anything to do with your dining rotation. Although I did have a muster station in 1923 and our rotation started with 1923 🤔

Palo brunch first full day on ship, cancellation policy

They can walk in together and if it gets really bad they'll send you a message on the app, and our waiter at brunch said to let her know if we needed to call down to the kids club or nursery, which I had to because my 3 year old was not happy in the nursery (she wasn't fully potty trained so she...

Crowds on a day Magic Kingdom closes early?

They typically have lower crowds because people with one park per day tickets don't want to use a day there.

    Overwhelmed and

I was saying my sister did an entire trip without paying for Genie+. But even with Genie+, you may have to experience a wait at Epcot if you're not there for early theme park entry. It's just very difficult to get Frozen, Test Track and Remy all on Genie+. You'd need to knock one of them off...

Palo brunch first full day on ship, cancellation policy

A word of warning, if he's prone to sensory overload, avoid open house. I couldn't handle being in the kids club on the Wish during open house. My kid who doesn't like new experiences and worries about the wind blowing, lived in the kids club. Because the kids you take on vacation are not the...

Online Check-in: Can I still by-pass Passport and Flight info and update later?

I didn't run into any errors, if that makes you feel better. But I spaced on getting the kids head shots before bed, so in the AM my husband had to quickly take them. We had DCL transfers though, so I wasn't worried about a PAT or anything like that.

Online Check-in: Can I still by-pass Passport and Flight info and update later?

There's a joke that elder millennials will only do important things on a big screen. I did it from my computer, I had all the photos stored in my google photos and downloaded them to a folder on my desktop. I found it super difficult to take a photo of my passport though and swapped it out for...

Private Transfer vs DCL Transport from WDW Hotel to Port Canaveral

If you're concierge, it doesn't matter, I think you can board whenever you want. I think at 4 people is where the calculation can go either way as to which method is more cost effective.

    Wish splash pad ages

A 6 year old will be fine. They didn't say no to my 7 year old (who is as tall as an 8 year old), but the attendant was like "she'll probably be bored in there" and she was... ETA: I should stipulate, my 7 year old went in to play with her 3 year old sister who wasn't fully potty trained...

Tips for going through airport security with an 8 month old.

I don't think I ever traveled with ice packs? But if I was, I'd just get those reusable freezer packs for lunch boxes. When we'd travel by car, I would bring the formula packets and bottles but my first born would drink room temperature formula. My second one was super picky and needed it...

    Which moderate?

I don't know how long the walk is, but when I stayed at Riv, I appreciated that it's a one resort bus, no sharing with other resorts. One of these days we'll actually stay at CBR, we've had 2 or 3 stays booked there that get moved for one reason or another.

Private Transfer vs DCL Transport from WDW Hotel to Port Canaveral

Since the COVID restart, WDW resort transfers are now some of the earlier port arrival times and BGs. I believe mine was 11:30 with a BG of 6? I believe they were on BG 4 or 5 when we arrived at the line to check in for security. ETA: What's your Castaway status? If you book your own...
