Hi all,

we recently used our developer points to book a stay at the Grand Califiornian Hotel in a few weeks...this cost us 189 points leaving 31 spare...we have also used some of our use year points for AKV in August...189 leaving 31 spare...now when we are in California it is to celebrate both mine and the wifes 40th Birthday and also our 10th wedding Anniversary...so we was thinking of upping the booking to conciege...using both the spare developer and use year points (61 in total) this leaves us 12 points short to having conciege for all of our stay...we dont really wont to borrow from next years points...what are the other options we have?..can we pay for the extra points via DVC?

you have to use points,you can borow them from your next use year,
If you need some from anouther DVC member your best option is for them to transfer them into your account ,as it would make it easer for you to use them
You would have to pay the outher menber the going rate for the points

You could either pay cash for a portion of your stay (phone member services for the precise details) or rent some points from another member by advertising on the main DVC Rent/Trade board. Please read the sticky at the top of this forum for details.
