2 Bedroom Lock Offs

Here is an odd question, can 2 Bedroom lock offs be programmed so that certain people's magic bands can only open the entrance to one of the rooms? Say Person A & B have access to the Studio Side and Person C & D have access to the one bedroom side?

I don't see why this couldn't be done from a technical standpoint since they are all electronic, but just wondering.

I am asking for a friend, they have a brother who has some personal boundary issues at times due to some issues that are really no fault of his, just coming up with the best solution.

In all reality, as a result of the issues, she will need access to his room, but would prefer that he didn't have access to her room.

If it's a matter of not wanting him to have access while they are in the room they could lock the door between the units and keep the latch flipped on the exterior door. Of course he could do the same.

Just reserve them separately and add "traveling with" on each reservation. Then, if you happen to get a studio that connects to the one bedroom, you can either open or close the doors between the units. The magic bands of the people in each unit will only open that unit.

That's a good question. You would think they should be able to make it work. The problem could be that the magic bands would be assigned to the same reservation which would give access to both exterior doors. If they separated the reservation, then the costs in points would change and neither person would have access to each other's unit.

Call or do the chat feature with member services and see what they say.

If you don't want the occupants of the studio getting into the one bedroom unless you are there, book the two units separately and use a few more points.
