We were thinking of booking our first cruise for June 2005 7 day. I don't really want to wait that long so we were thinking of trying the 4 day for our first cruise Dec 19, 2004. Is anyone else booked for that time? Is December a good time to go? Is it warm enough to swim? Thanks.:D

We booked it. We have always sailed in September, but have seen pictures of the ship decorated for Christmas and it is just BEAUTIFUL! So we decided to go at Christmas time just this once to see it for ourselves.

This is a good cruise if you have kids in school because it is priced as 'value season' even though many kids are out of school (although I noticed yesterday the Cat. 10 rooms went up about $400 from when we booked---the Cat. 11 rooms are still about the same as when we priced them, we booked a Cat. 10 Secret Porthole Room for this cruise, so we are already set).

(check out the pictures on Barb and Tony's website at:
http://www.disneycruiser.info/xmas.htm for pictures from Christmas 2001).

We go in the value season time, and cruising during Christmas is one of the MOST expensive times, but this is just before the holiday and we will still be able to be home for Christmas Eve after the cruise!

So we are excited. BTW, I have twin DDs who will be 11 at the time of this cruise.
