We may go to Sea World in Orlando our next trip-Does it offer anything better/different than the Sea World in San Diego? My son doesn't really "love" all the shows, but he does enjoy the interaction. He will be 10 on our next trip.

If your son loves interacton especialy with dolphins the I would seriously consider Discovery Cove which is a seperate park next door to SW but run by the same group. There are alot of posts on here about it which should give you a good idea of what its like.
If your son likes water rides and roller coasters then SW Orlando has one of each - Journey to Atlantis and Kraken. Went on JTA last year and Kraken both last year and this year and enjoyed them as did alot of pre teenage kids (if they met the height requirement!). Other than that the park is pretty much the same from what I recall of SW SD when I visited in 1998.
Hope this helps.
