Aquatica Cabanas - can you take food purchased at AQ back to cabana

We wanted to try the cabanas and all day dining for the first time but wanted to check if you are allowed to take food back to your cabana. If not allowed then we’d probably skip the all day dining. Am I right in saying you can order food from attendants? Thanks

Unless they have changed their policies since our most recent visit (May 2018), you can bring food back to your cabana from the Mango Market or Waterstone Grill, but not from the Banana Beach Buffet. You are correct that you can also order food from a special menu inside the cabana, and the attendants will deliver it to you there.
