Growing up in Greeley, Colorado, the local University hosted an annual "Bad Film Festival." A whole day of amazing movies each one more stupid than the last. It was free to get in, but you had to pay to get out. The longer you stayed, the cheaper it got to leave. All proceeds went to charity.
I have gotten to see some really BAD movies -- Ishtar, They Saved Hitler's Brain, Plan 9 from Outer Space, Leonard Part 6 (thank God parts 1 through 5 ever never filmed).
I would like to thank the Sci-Fi channel, and my husband, for subjecting me to the Science Fiction equivalant of a Bad Film Festival. Saturday our TiVo recorded non-stop volcanic disasters while we did our annual day of yard work. Late last night and now this morning, I'm realizing just how bad acting can really be.
So I ask all of you, what do you do for your loved one?
