Beach Club Room Views

Some of these standard view rooms look more like garden or water views. I wonder if some people had been upgraded and weren't told?

Could somebody please tell me how to add photos on this site? I've been fudging around for about an hour now!

I stayed one night in a Beach Club Villa - Studio on March 26, 2015 for Easter Sunday Eve. I was not impressed at all with the view. We had a lovely bird attending to her babies in the corner. We chose not to disturb her and not to alert Disney, because we really didn't want anything to happen to Mamma and baby! I am going back and hoping against hope for a much better view. I also felt like the room was very dated and in sore need of an update. I understand that most rooms are in the process of being updated.

I only have one question:

If money were no object, would you choose a GARDEN VIEW room or a POOL/LAGOON VIEW room?

Here are a couple of pics of the view. From the outside, our room was the one in the middle under the peak.

Star Wars Fireworks

" We checked out of BCCL last Thursday. I miss it so much! We were treated to a magical upgrade to a water view room - room 5687 - we had reserved standard view. The club level staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful.

Our room was right next the Nantucket Suite. Great view to SB, although there was a tree partially blocking the view, we didn't mind, it was still gorgeous. It has one of the small balconies but we don't spend a lot of time there so that was ok too. The room did have a rather funky smell on check-in. If you have a teenaged boy, you might be familiar with the smell - eau de gym locker. We had packed some fabreze and some essential oils so I went to work spritzing and sprinkling. We left the room smelling better than when we got there! Also, this room must be directly over the Cape May Cafe and the hallway smelled very strongly of fish each evening. Yucky! I wish they piped in the smell from the lobby to each hallway. We could not smell it in the room though.

This is our third stay at the Beach Club and I can't imagine staying anywhere else!"

Room 4608
Standard View
Full balcony
No daybed

We're facing the villas. It's a corner room - extremely quiet which we're loving. No daybed which is fine by us and we have a French door and window leading to a full deck.

Room 3726
Standard View
King Bed
Small Balcony
End of hallway
BriLam, Aug 27-Sept 3, 2016

View Pictures, Room 3726

Our family had three rooms and were all located near each other on the third floor. My wife, 2.5 year old son and I had 3726, which was literally the last room in the resort. It had a king bed and a ton of room being much larger than other standard rooms. The extra room came in quite handy being we had the little man with us. I noted to my wife how quiet things were in the room. You could hear others while in the hallway, but never when in your room with the door closed. The bed was just fantastic and I loved the decor. Really great. No views at all and I'd have loved to have a "real" balcony to sit out on, but the extra room was a tradeoff we'd make again in a heartbeat.

We did laundry while at the resort and the placement of the laundry rooms was pretty terrible for us. The two rooms in BC are located on the literal other end of the resort than we were one, with one being located in the hotel proper and the other in a separate building by the pool nearest to Epcot. Being our room was the last room on the opposite end of the resort, this made the walk to the laundry rooms pretty annoying. I wish there could have been at least one more centrally located. That said, at least there were facilities! Many fewer washers and dryers than I recall being in AKL last year, too. Why didn't they have these things accept MagicBands for payment? But I'll take credit over cash any day!

natebenma, was your room considered a Standard being on the end like that?

I have added several posts for others who have stayed in rooms at the Beach Club. Which room? 3726 above?

I just added in that it is a Standard View room, because it overlooks resort rooftops.

Standard Room= Parking Lot or Rooftop Views
Garden/Woods View= Something Green like courtyard or trees
Water/Lagoon View= Pool or Crescent Lake

Yes thats it, thanks. I'm working on a plan of what rooms are in what catagory. Just thought Id ask.

Make sure you check out the first page of this thread. The first post has a very detailed map showing the rooms by view along with other information- and the next few posts have a sample of rooms by view.

Room 3692
Standard View, front driveway and roof
Small balcony, windows on sides
2 Queens
Daybed- full pull out, not a twin fold-down
AR81, August 2016

Our room was 3692 and it wasn't just the twin fold down daybed it was a full pull out type daybed. We had a little lounge area right in front of our door and I didn't think it was that far from the elevators. I could tell the hallways kept going way past our bend so I think we pretty much scored. Yes it was a standard view looking directly over the front entrance of the resort but I didn't care. The size of the room made up for it. It was like we were at a corner, we had Windows on both sides and the room was very bright and clean.

View attachment 190747 This pic kind of shows you the space with the daybed. The other bed is behind me and not in the pic. I didn't get a pic of the view but one side was a roof and the other side with the balcony looked over the front driveway. This pic is also a bit deceiving because there was quite a bit of space between the daybed and bed. So when the daybed was completely pulled out it wasn't too close to the bed. There was enough room to walk between them but we kept it folded back during the day.

Rooms 3711-3717
Standard View, rooftop, with SAB/lagoon view beyond
Room 3711 Full balcony, daybed
val1234, Sept 2016

Just returned from a 6 night stay at the Beach club! This was our first time staying at an Epcot resort. I can honestly say after 20 years of staying at all the moderates and Deluxe MK area resorts I have found a new favorite. I mean no other Disney resort can touch SAB and it was a joy coming back from the parks everyday just to swim in that pool. I love the sand area it was a godsend to my aching feet everyday. And the multiple hot tubs and lazy river was a joy. I will be booking again and will try the Yacht club next year. The magical deal price we got for the BC was icing on the cake as well. Also I highly recommend standard rooms from 3711-3717. We were in 3711 and had full balcony and a day bed. And even though we overlooked a roof we still had a very nice view of SAB and the lagoon beyond the roof. Any of the rooms on this side should have the same view and all had full balcony. Great deal for a standard view room.

Room 3705 standard view
2 queens, no daybed
full balcony
BC 3705.jpg

Room 3705 is a standard view room that was located right above Martha's Vineyard lounge. It was a very quiet room. We requested and received a full balcony. The room did not have a daybed but otherwise was just a regular room. We could hear the music from the pool party in the afternoon and we had a great view of the Star Wars fireworks at night. We couldn't see Illuminations, but we heard the fireworks.

3705 view straight.jpg

This picture was taken from our balcony while we enjoyed our morning coffee. You could smell breakfast cooking at Cape May. We could see a little of Storm Along Bay, the pirate slide and the Boardwalk.

3507 view left.jpg

This is the view to the left.

3705 roof view right.jpg

The view to the right. Our room wasn't too far from the main elevator. The halls had a lot of turns and were narrow in spots in that section of the resort.

Just back from our F&WF long weekend. We were in 4617,
terrific water view room,
day bed,
two queen beds,
full balcony,
connecting door

Also, straight down the hall from the elevators, so great location for tired feet!

Have 2-bedroom suite booked at BC in early Sep 2016. First time stay at BC, have stayed at BWI previously. This is a big trip for our family, includes both sons & DILs & grandson who will be 3 at time of trip. Does anyone have pic's & views from 2-bedroom suites? I found their locations on floor map in earlier post. Have also read about entrance on Epcot side, where is it located? Thanks!
