We've been to Disney several times but none of us has ever seen this show. We are traveling with my parents in law in March and my father in law only speaks French. I was wondering if he will still enjoy the show? He really likes shows in general and this kind of show is right up their alley (if it was in French ;).
I know that he won't get the "spoken" jokes but he might enjoy the dancing and singing.
What do you think? Is it worth it?

I would say no. A big portion of the show is puns, including the songs. There really isn't a lot of what I would call dancing. It would be an awfully expensive evening to end up not understanding any of it.

This same question came up recently. The overall opinion was the jokes make the show. You can always show him English YouTube of the show and see what he thinks

Personally I think it would be very isolating to be there while the crowd roars and have no idea what was said

    Hopefully likes this.

Ok thanks! That's what I was worried about. We might just skip this one for now.

    1) Alas, I have to agree.
    2) Too many "inside" jokes for non-English-speaking guest to appreciate
    3) However, the music and food are universal.
    4) I would not hesitate to recommend it to you. YEE-HAW !
