Caribbean Beach questions

A good friend is joining us for part of our upcoming trip in October. We are DVC staying at SSR, she will be staying at Caribbean Beach in a pirates room (she just booked and it is the only moderate available, she normally stays at POR)
She uses a scooter so I believe will have to ask for a first floor from as no elevators, correct?
Any other pieces of advice re: CBR. We do know about the food court renovations and hope this won't be a big impact for her as she does like to have breakfast at the resort. Thank you!

The pirate rooms are as far away from central services as you can get, so she may be unhappy trying to get breakfast every day.

Sorry, I couldn't give you better news. She might want to keep checking to see if she can get a different room or resort.

The new "walk-up window" food location at Trinidad South should be open by October,but we don't know much about it-hours,offerings,etc.
