Dancing With the Stars - Fall 2017

I need to figure out another way to try for tickets. I don't want to pay $300 for bad seats!

Are you sure that's the price and not a typo? Here, on Broadway, the most expensive seats are about $250 for the best seats for most shows. (Not sure about Hamilton when Lin Manuel Miranda was in it, and I'm not talking the scalper tickets.) I can't believe your tickets would be more than our average tickets. :confused3

Well, I've tried several sites and that's what I see. But will keep trying. I've paid $150 per to be towards the front for touring Broadway shows at this venue, but this is pretty out there.

That's why I think they got the prices mixed up with somewhere else. Or the decimal point is in the wrong place. :upsidedow

Former contestants and the first married couple who competed on the show, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega will be starring together in a Christmas Hallmark movie in a couple months, and dancing together.

"Enchanted Christmas (Hallmark Channel)
Starring: Alexa and Carlos PenaVega

'Weeks before Christmas, interior designer Laura is sent to her hometown of Santa Fe, New Mexico to remodel a landmark hotel. As Laura is kept busy with the renovations, her 8-year-old daughter Nicole is introduced to the art of salsa dancing at a local dance studio. Laura is surprised to find that the studio’s owner is Ricardo, her old high school sweetheart and former salsa dance partner. When Laura and Ricardo reconnect, sparks fly on and off the dance floor. The beautiful Christmas traditions of New Mexico become the backdrop for spirited dancing and unexpected romance.'”

Tickets start here at about 40-50 bucks here in Florida. Definitely seems like a price mixup.

I love Mark, and the little details in that dance were killing me. But Lindsey is too small with her arms and her head is too far forward. Why no comments? She is so good otherwise. Julianne would have told her.

I watched the dance this morning on YouTube and I agree entirely. I think the scores she got were definitely a gift.

Vanessa and Maks are so awkward - was their entire rehearsal package green-screened so that they didn't actually have to be in the room together? :scratchin

I wish every night was Disney Night. :lovestruc

I read this thread all the time, but I think this is my first time commenting. :)

Vanessa and Maks just don't seem to have any chemistry. I don't know why that is, but they are not fun to watch even though I think she's a good dancer.

I'm all in on team Frankie. It's hard not to root for him when the guy clearly just LOVES being there. I got nervous last night when they highlighted him, and I don't recall the language they used, but I can't believe he'd actually be in the bottom two.

Lindsey and Mark are really good together, but I don't know what it is about her, but I'm just not a big fan.

Jordan and Lindsey were AMAZING. Foxtrot is my favorite dance and that one was fantastic. Loved the breakdown in the middle. I actually don't mind Jordan. He's very Broadway, but I think he's a good guy who is taking the competition very seriously and wants to win.

I think Drew's time is coming to an end, but he really has improved significantly and that's always fun to see.

Disney night NEVER disappoints.

I don't think there is any love lost between Maks and Vanessa. Both of their facial expressions and body language last night after the dance toward each other was distant. The other dancers and partners are hugging all over each other, those 2 not so much.

I think and hope Nick goes before Drew. Nick is very stiff and lacks personality.

Frankie is just fun to watch. The look on his face after he dances is like 'wow I can't believe I just did that!'

@ZellyB HEYYYY! :wave:

My hope for final 3: Jordan, Frankie and Drew. In that order. Love all of them! I think it's a stretch for Drew to make the final 3 but I'm hoping!
I would love for Drew to make the final three with Frankie. Not sure who I would put in the third position though.

:teacher: DWTS Trivia:

Cheryl Burke will be on 3 episodes of Dance Moms. Her first appearance is tonight, where she tells the dance moms to shut up. :duck:

I'm surprised the tour isn't coming to WI or MI, now I'm disappointed :(. Rockford or Rosemont aren't that far, but chancy in February driving.

I'm really enjoying this season. Frankie is my sentimental favorite. Vanessa just grates me the wrong way, up one side and down the other. I almost wish the wrestling gal would pile drive her.

It's my guilty pleasure of a show, and I own up to it :).

We get early January in a snowbelt region. :rotfl2:

It kills me every time I see the schedule. The city never gets hit hard by snow at all but they choose a casino north of the city, in a cottage country snowbelt - in January.

There's a damn casino in Niagara Falls that would be perfect! Even in January. Bitter. :rotfl: Emotion not area!

__________________________________________________________

I loved Frankie's dance. Most enjoyable of the night for me.

Victoria, although I am wowed by her, continues to get overscored in my opinion.

Nikki, had no clue that her background was Mexican (and Italian). She seems a bit stalled. Looking forward to this week. I feel that I'm waiting for some wow performance that might never come.

Sasha, well so long but sorry that I feel we didn't see your potential.

Everyone else I have forgotten. Oh Drew did a good job.

Oh I know what I'm forgetting - Terrell's comment about Cheryl being a good lion in the jungle. Priceless. And then her comment about his rehearsal falling short was hysterical. I have really enjoyed their dynamic.

Nick is very stiff and lacks personality.

Yes.

________________________________

I have always gotten from Nick that he has a very controlling way about him. Therefore I think that it is very difficult for him to let go.

Frankie in comparison is working hard and taking it seriously as well. But you can see the joy and fun he is having in each of his dances. It is clear that Nick is not.

And Vanessa and Maks, something something is up there as others have mentioned.
