To O the Mornin Dads! DS had to head out early this morning to return to campus To move out. They scheduled all the kids at different time windows and they weren’t allowed to have others join to help. He’s got a long day including 4 hours driving. This thing is a real PITA.
Stay safe and hope to join in on zoom meet tonight
Good luck to him and you. My older son had to fly cross-country to get his stuff - we ended up paying an overweight fee to Southwest because his larger suitcase was 75 pounds.

All three kids are doing classes from home now. Older son is even happier now that he managed to avoid early classes, now that he's taking Eastern-time classes from Pacific time. Earliest class is now 7am, but it could be worse.

Luckily he went back a couple of weeks ago to get clothes, books and some other essentials when they were looking at a couple of weeks. He was in an apartment so he had TVs, dishes, bedding, curtains, wall hangings, vacuum more clothes, drafting table, printer, well you get the picture. Did a great job packing it all up - couldn’t see out back but ……

Nice. Mine ended up leaving one box of stuff like dishes, with the idea being that he could bring it home if we ended up going back for graduation (which we aren't, it's now online-only) or his roommate that is staying there could ship it back. But there's nothing in it that he'll be that upset if he loses. The quilt his grandmother made for him, on the other hand, came home in his luggage.

Morning boys from the mother country. We are having a bit of Crowded House weather here today, 4 seasons in one day. One minute its bright sunshine, then sleet, then wind, then mild. The clocks went forward here last night, so I ended officially going to bed at 245 after finding some reprobates on the internet. Kids had me up at 8, wanting to carry on with building the rollercoaster. We are about halfway through, I'll try and stretch it out the build for at least another day and a half.

The weather is messing with the smoker temp, so the ribs are going to be a bit touch and go. I may be a bit girly about it and finish them off in the oven. I'll hand my man card in later.

    Have a great Sunday chaps.

It was good to have you join in with us last night/this morning Dan. Hope the ribs work out and the build doesn't get ahead of schedule.

    Right back at ya mate.
I was thinking as I shut down, I've been talking with you, Mikey, and the Chief for the thick end of 3 years on here, we've watched a fair few NFL games together across the globe, and yet we've never had a conversation between each other. It was a good thing we did it. Hopefully I can do it again sometime, the 4 hour time difference does make it a little bit easier.
Thing was, I just done a virtual cocktail party the 2 hours before, so my Bourbon stock has taken a bit of a hammering.
The ribs look OK, they're not gonna be the greatest, but they've had 2 sleet storms and 2 lots of hail on them, and I believe Ribs follow the Pizza and Nookie rule.

Top O the… never mind! Great conversation last night on Zoom. Dan thinking the same thing in that we’ve gotten to know you well but last was first time we actually talked.

Want to thank you guys again for the support regarding my son in law and his COVID test. Great news that the results were negative thank goodness. DD, and I quote, big baby has man flu - something there about Apple and falling from a tree. I just think that is her defense mechanism for thank you lord as I do t know what I’d do without him.

Hope all had a great Sunday with the family

Morning all, from a murky London. Looks like we got the Chiefs Land of the Mary weather. 4 mile run this morning, dropped some spuds off to my Mums doorstep on the run. Our next door neighbours Dad died of Covid on Saturday Night, so that's now hitting a little closer to home.

So, it looks like WDW is closed until at least Jun 1.

Last day at work for 4 days. But I'm worried what the Mrs. will want me to do around the house during that time!
Looks like naked cleaning is on the agenda at Ponzie's house...…. break out the bow tie
The quilt his grandmother made for him, on the other hand, came home in his luggage.
That's a nice thing. The Lady Ks mum makes Quilts for the kids as well.
    Hope the ribs work out
Cheers buddy. They had a good pull off the bone, just weren't that smokey, and no smoke ring. I can smoke in rain, wind just wrecks it. Hey ho. They were still ribs. I'm a bit of a Carolina boy when it comes to sauce, I like the mustard bases.

That's good news. Like you said on Sat, can't believe it took that long to come back.

    Have a great day guys.

Hey Dads! Hope everyone is safe and not sick. We've been staying in as much as possible, DD, who's 7, is going stir crazy being in the house all the time, but when the DW can, she gets outside with her. I wound up working Saturday morning for a few hours. We had to schedule a FedEx pickup for about $100k worth of product going out. Spent the rest of the weekend inside mi casa cleaning and organizing. Outside that? Not much is going on. Oh, I did manage to spend most of yesterday filling out online job applications, a lot actually, so we'll see how that goes.

Sorry to hear especially these difficult times
    Thanks, man, appreciate it.
My daughter works for Chick Fil-A part time. The one phrase they have to nail, of course, is "My pleasure". I learned from her that there's a whole dialect in those two words, depending on tone and inflection.
I know that well. I use to work at The Disney Store, and we had a saying that usually mean something bad. It was, "Have a Disney day."
