We are trying to decide if we should add QS DDP to our stay at Wilderness. What is included for each meal allotment at these two restaurants? Last trip at Mara we were able to get a sandwich, side, dessert, and additional item or dessert in place of our drink because we already had our refillable mugs from the DDP. Do all QS resort restaurants work the same way?

The QS entitlements have changed. No matter which QS restaurant you go to, all you will get is an entrée and drink. Entrée can be a combo (burger/fries) if the entrée is listed that way. If all that is listed is a sandwich or a salad, then you do not get a side of any kind. At your resort, you will probably be able to get something else for the drink entitlement since you have your mug. At the parks, you probably will have to get the drink as most are not allowing the substitutions anymore.

Has anyone been successful trading their drink for a dessert at Roaring Fork or Geyser Point lately? The extra drink is such a waste for us since we bring bottled water with us and have the mugs. It really makes the DDP not worth it!

Use the money you would have spent on the meal plan to eat your way. So much easier than trying to maximize the dp
