Can someone please name and describe the different towers at the Disneyland Hotel? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each building?
Thanks.

The Sierra Tower is the oldest but has (in general) large rooms with a large bathroom that has a seperate toilet room. The views are of the pool and central area from one side and the other side has views of Downtown Disney, DCA and Disneyland.
The Bonita Tower is middle aged and has large rooms but a standard hotel bathroom. These rooms have a wetbar as you enter the room, complete with sink and counter. The views here can be of the central pool area or the Anaheim area with parkinglots below.
The Marina Tower is the newest and has the smallest rooms with an average bathroom but these can also have seperate toilet rooms. These rooms have views of the pool or the Anaheim Area and parkinglots but Disneyland is to the far right.
Non of the rooms have balconies. They all have sliding doors that open against a railing and in the case of the Sierra tower two sliders open making for a large opening.
Be aware that there are some different room configurations in each tower. As in all hotels some rooms with a king bed occupy smaller rooms.

Thanks for the information. Just to be clear; there are no balcony rooms in any of the towers? What about smoking?

I believe there are smoking and nonsmoking rooms.

The Sierra Tower has the best location. It is closest to DL, DCA, and DTD. Most of the rooms are considered view rooms.

The Bonita Tower is the farthest from DL, DTD, and the main entrance to DCA. One side has very nice views while the other side does not.

The Marina Tower is a little farther from DL, etc., than is the Sierra Tower, but not nearly as far as the Bonitta Tower. One side has a fun view of the Neverland pool. You can see DL (and fireworks when they are scheduled) from many of the rooms on other side without necessarily having to pay the additional cost of a view room. The lobby is in this tower.

We have stayed in both Sierra(two times) and Bonita (3 times). We actually love the Bonita because we love walking through the fountains. We don't find the walk to be enough further to worry with. It is a lovely hotel and our favorite place to stay! We once had a second story DTD room in the Sierra and even that low, had a nice view of the fireworks. Our favorite room ever was the Bonita Tower. We were on the 11th floor if memory serves correct and had a nice view of the Matterhorn and Big Thunder Moutain which the kids liked.
