For $69 for DVC members, I am considering the MNSSHP for the night before. Those will be the fireworks that we'll see from TTOTW though... maybe save the money.

Also considering a MVMCP for December 3 and that price is $92!!!

We were considering it but didn't see the DVC discount. It isn't a great deal but better than leaving MK at 7. Do they discount child admission as well?

There will be a pirate night and plenty of people will dress for the fun. Maybe 15-20% really get into the spirit of the night. Most go with the bandanas you get, or like me, I wear my pirate goofy ears.

Was able to book today! Kids are super excited. Wondering what meds you would recommend for motion sickness?

Great news! hope you were able to reserve a few things.

I have only had motion sickness on 2 occasions during rough seas and both while staying in an inside stateroom so I can't help you with meds.

update: FE group #2 will officially close on June 26 - 2 months prior to sail.

I have decided to skip the MNSSHP this year. We'll do the MVMCP in December.

Really hope to get a FP for FoP for our brief stay before this MC! I tried too late for my July visit, and it was down when we were at the Pandora preview.

I hear ya on the FoP FP mission. We'll also be trying to secure one for a short stay following the cruise. Hope it works out for you.

just an FYI - we did buy the MNSSHP tix for the 25th so we unfortunately won't be able to make the Top of the World lounge that night. We'll be at Copper Creek for 2 nights precruise and plan to hang out at the new Geyser Point Bar and Grill on 8/24 if anyone wants to drop by for a mini-meet. Should be fun.

Also for those going to the Halloween party on the 25th, you can reserve FP+ with just the party tix between 4-6 that night (according the party thread, you don't want to book past 6 or they'll cancel it). with a 2nt stay, the window should open up for us tomorrow. I'll let you know.

Ok, I have begun getting information on the MC Candy/Snack exchange!! So, even if you have not mentioned here that you are interested, send me your information! Around July 26, I will be sending the list to everyone involved.

I have the Disney Junior breakfast on Sunday, but I have often had a Disboard breakfast meet open to everyone who cares to come. Is anyone interested in meeting for Breakfast on Monday?

Day 6, a day at sea....sometimes folks have met for lunch in the sit down dining room, around noon. Is anyone interested in that?

As you can tell, I do try to meet and connect with fellow cruisers. On last year's 4 night cruise, at the breakfast meet, mostly people in the Candy Exchange showed up. Karen, whom I had not met before was one who showed up. It turns out that she and I graduated from TSC in the same year. She and I connected again on the EBTA in May, we have connected through other "long lost" friends. Karen and Patricia, my roommate on the DVC MC will be roommates on a November DCL cruise!

Who knows what great experiences can come out of friendly meals on a DVC Member Cruise!

Sorry, so late in the game to be posting, can't believe it's coming up so soon! We got in after 4 hours on booking day as well. Just wanted to post to say we would be interested in the FE and candy snack exchange and anything else that's going on. I'll send details later.

It's our family of four, first DVC cruise since we just joined last year, but 2nd Disney Cruise (we did the NYE one in 2012 and did the FE then, too, so much fun!). Two teens, age 15 and almost 19.
