Fast pass and child swap

Assuming fast pass comes back question for when you are using child swap.
Do you use fast pass in conjunction with child swap so the littles don't have to hang around too long in line for something they can't ride? Or do you use fast pass for rides where the whole crew can ride? Or a combo?

We split our party up and mom gets fastpass for a thrill ride with older kids and dad gets fastpass for a kiddie ride with our youngest, or vice versa. Gives youngest something to do on the first leg of the swap.
Note—there have been anecdotal reports if this not being allowed for FOP (ie CMs requiring all riders to have a fp to use the child swap) but we have never had a problem.

Of note, you can still rider swap with young kids right now. We didn't think that was an option since there is no FP, but you can ask the cast members at the entrance for a rider swap, they will scan your magic band and let you use the old FP line when you come back.
