Sorry if this has been asked before, but every time I search I get hundreds of threads and no answers. I've never gone to WDW during the Food and Wine Festival, and for the first time my September dates correspond to the opening night of this event. My question is, will Epcot be insanely busy the friday night opening? I am leaving Sunday 10/2, so my only options are the Friday night opening or the following Saturday morning. Also how do the crowds during this time compare to the summer months? I've usually gone during August / April in the past and only recently have been able to travel in September. Do the crowds for this event compare to the summer months or are they worse / better? Tips are appreciated!
