Good plan?

We have three day park to park passes. We’ll be arriving late in the day 8/26 and plan to go to both parks between 6-9 pm. Our plan for these couple hours is to do some shopping and snacking around both Harry Potter areas. 8/27 is full day. 8/28 will need to leave early to get to Magic Kingdom for Halloween party. Our main focus on all of these days will be HP but also want to fit in a few other rides (no little kids and none of the crazy rides like Hulk). Do you think this is enough time? Haven’t been to Universal in years. Thanks

Hi you didn't say if you have ep but even so with what you want to do it should be fine. That week should be less crowded then earlier in August. I think researching ahead of time what you want to see and ride helps. This way you can put a a tentative plan in place for each park. Sometimes I find if you don't, you can waste some time bouncing back and forth between parks. The HP worlds are great! If you can it is better to be in there early morning or later evening. The crowds are a little less and you have a better experience.

Enjoy your first trip back in years.!

This is probably enough time if you plan to focus on Harry Potter primarily. When we go , that is what we do. It is our absolute favorite! There are only two rides in the Hogsmead section [ Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogryf]. Also at night on certain dates they do a light show on the Hogwarts castle. And in Diagon Alley they only have the Gringotts ride. So....ride lines are usually pretty long. We always spend lots of time in the shops and restaurants. Our favorite was going into Olivanders for the wand experience and we bought an interactive wand so we could "cast spells' around the 2 parks. Also, be sure to try the butter beer and ice cream at Florean Fortiscues and the pumpkin pasties in the little bakery / sweet shop behind the Weasley Joke store. On your full day at the parks, Id plan to be in line 30 mins before the park opens to get an early start.
