Harbor Nights, Then HHN?

Ugh, major dilemma!

I just saw one of the two nights we're there this weekend, PBR is hosting their big Harbor Nights event - super big wine tasting, all sorts of yummies from the restaurants there. It's from 6:30 - 9 pm on 10/13.

We were planning on two nights at HHN, Friday and Saturday. Do y'all think 9 pm or so until midnight the 13th and a full night Saturday is enough time to see everything at HHN?

Will you have Express Pass on Saturday? If not, you should consider it, so you'd have more options. Assuming no EP, though, my initial thought is:

Friday: Only 3 hours, so check for show times, and make sure you see the two shows and spend the rest of the night in the scare zones. 3 hours will go by quickly.
Saturday: Utilize Stay and Scream and hit the houses early. Go house-to-house until you've seen them all. It will be a long night, but you have a chance to see all the houses. There won't be time to go at a leisurely pace, though.

If you can fit EPs for Saturday night into your budget, you will definitely be able to see everything. You could catch 1 show each night and go through a house or two on Friday. Then everything else on Saturday.

No EP's for either night, and actually we're not even doing the parks. Just resorts and HHN. Staying onsite and one of the nights, we aren't paying for the HHN tickets (vouchers). Price is so good for the Harbor Nights - $58 per person for food and wine. We'd spend that on dinner anywhere, at least.

I like your thoughts about scare zones on Friday, shows. Saturday for the houses. We used Orlando Informer's touring plan last year and will use it again this year.

Thank you so very much for your speedy reply :)

Make sure you use the hotel guest entrance so you can avoid the mob outside. Just be prepared to wait in long lines w/o Express.

Back! Ended up doing Harbor Nights Friday and HHN Saturday. We were at the resort line at 5:30, were let in right at 6, and we were able to do 7 houses, Transformers, and Gringotts by midnight. There are a couple touring plans available on the interwebs, and we followed one and had pretty good success. Our longest wait was 25 minutes for Blumhouse. Had to skip Saw, Shining and one other (Fallen Dead or something? up by Mummy). We have another set of tickets we scored from a radio friend, so we're hoping to get over there before it's over to check out those last three houses :)
