Increased ads make forum increasingly difficult to browse. Visiting less and less because of it.

Subject line says it all. Browsing on the phone is nearing impossible. iPad is not much better. I’m a member of several other boards which use much less advertising, and I cringe every time I come here… which is less and less.

Admin… it’s your site… do what you want… but know that it has a negative impact on user experience.

I agree --- is there any option to have a paid version of the forums with no ads? I would happily pay 5-15$ monthly to support the dis and not have to deal with the barrage of ads that ruin the experience on here!

I love the boards but your right about the ads. They are kinda clunky and interfere with stuff at times.

Agreed. AdBlocker Plus is a very common choice here to make the forums readable. And I just added the Firefox browser to my Android mobile devices to finally make the phone and tablet useable.

I use adblocker and works great in general. Yesterday this rather amateurish looking jpg ad started to appear on only the 'Transportation' board. The 'X' that normally closes out such ads is part of the picture on this one, so clicking anywhere on it jumps to their ad.................annoying.
