...and based on where people were taking photos (actually quite busy), I believe our rig was photo bombing a lot... lol)

I guess the only thing I would want to check with them is late arrival. Here at Carolina Crossroads (and if you are familiar forgive me) they have a row of angled sites right up front that are easy to quietly pull into late and after dark without unhooking and just plug in. They leave site info and paperwork at office door... no problems doing it. Will just call and ask about any rules regarding late (how late permitted) arrival as would probably be arriving between 9 and 10 (maybe 8:30-9).

Yes they do late arrivals, have some sites up front, if I am just in and not unhooking we ask for site 17 or 27, I forget off the top of my head, it is on the end of the row.

Parked in Lime garage (barely a car there) and walked (after temperature check) to Earl of Sandwich. I had the chipotle chicken avocado, DW had the Thanksgiving sandwich, DS 13 had BLT, and DS 10 had grilled cheese. We all shared a chocolate chip/brownie cookie and a black and white cookie. All was VERY good. After that visits to various stores including the Star Wars trading post, World of Disney (where DW bought a gray baby yoda tank top), Lego store. Next was Joffrey’s where the boys and myself each had a large Joffrey’s donut and DW had the “Round ‘em up” latte... made us thirsty so enjoying drinks upstairs at Coke store now. Unfortunately they were out of Bibo and Melon Frosty at the moment, so they had to choose alternate drinks.

Also found out that oversized vehicle (pulling the trailer after leaving KOA tomorrow) parking is available at the “Mango” lot currently for DS.

Kissimmee KOA site 110. Going to guess about 1/4 to 1/3 sites filled on this Tuesday evening. Just got back from the Springs and a socially responsible visit to our old next neighbors at our former hone in Celebration. Gonna head for the pool to cool off!DE4478B3-7E75-4E86-B115-2EE58BD8177D.jpeg74324ECD-1B9F-4DB0-A49F-81CE7E98C667.jpeg

Had round 2 of Joffrey’s today. Also tried the Dole whip “nachos”.. really good for sharing (although I could eat one myself, too). Also had round 2 at Coke store. Boys each had some churros as well (trying to fit in all of our Disney snacking for the year in 2 partial days).

They were selling balloons “Main Street style” at Disney Springs since parks closed I think.

Parking in Mango lot... we were the only vehicle there both on arrival and departure. Pulled up right along the edge of orange garage as it was shady there when we arrived and the entire lot was empty.

Went scooping for fossil shark’s teeth on the beach, stayed for sunset, and getting plenty of pool time. Will be getting a LOT of those two activities for the next 5 days... along the way enjoying local donuts and other local treats, bird watching at local sanctuary locations and visiting the local airport for my older son who is looking to be a pilot, too.

Not the largest or fanciest pool, but the location (at Grandma and Pop-Pop’s house) seems to make in one of the favorites for the boys!

Looks good, anything behind your spot?
Just the back yard... lol (just in case... it was a joke as I am actually parked at my parents house... they have a driveway with hookups where they used to park their motorhome when they still had it. Makes a great spot for when we visit as house is to small for us to stay in with them.. and they have seven cats! :teeth: )
