Thinking of staying here in October. We've stayed at Jambo and loved it. How is Kidani compared to Jambo? More looking for resort comparison from those that have stayed at both. I've looked at the floorplans and know the differences in the actual rooms. How are the pools different? What about restaurants? Etc.

Also what about parking here? I noticed on Google Earth the parking doesn't look like a lot. Is it hard to find a spot? How is the main lobby compared to Jambo?

Thanks in advance!!

Parking at Kidani is under the building. It is usually easy to get a spot and the car doesn't get as hot as sitting in the sun all day. The lobby is nice, but is much smaller than Jambo. The pool us great and the slide is a lot of fun. We have never eTen at Sanaa. We love Kidani. It is so nice to gave the extra bathroom.

I have only stayed at kidani. Will continue to stay there for the extra bathroom and the nicer pool. However, it seems that jambo has a better overall ambiance. More culture and activities. Things like native drums being played randomly throughout the lobby during the day.

There are definitely differences between the two, and depending on individual preferences you're going to get a variety of opinions about which is better.

The lobby at kidani is a lot smaller and less "grand" than Jambo, and is quieter, as there aren't as many people walking through. While kidani doesn't have a quick service like the Mara at jambo, it does a great sit down location. The pool at kidani has a water play area for kids. And the pools themselves, for the most part, are similar.

Bus transportation is shared between kidani and jambo. From the parks, the busses drop off (and pick up new passengers) at kidani first, and then go to jambo. In addition, there are passenger vans that take guests between the two areas of the resort.

While parking may look limited on satellite views of kidani, there are lots under the building, with elevators that go right up into the hotels.

Our family prefers kidani when we stay at the Animal kingdom. We like the second bathroom in the 1 br villa, and prefer the quieter atmosphere of kidani. For us, it is a great way to unwind after the busy days in the parks.

If you want to go to Jambo House, do you walk there? What is it like 5 minutes? It looks like there's a walkway there. Do they have a shuttle? Sorry so many questions.

Oops we posted at the same time. Thanks!!! ;)

In the master bathrooms at KV, the shower is separate from the jetted tub. At JH, the shower is IN the jetted tub.
