I'm thinking that my DGDs might enjoy this. We have an upcoming vacation and have planned a "down" day, where we'll hang around the resort. Is it every day? Is it free? Is it good for young children (5yo and 7yo)?

We did it. It was fun and free. I don't recall there being much of a lesson, but kids got a small circular cake and put on frosting, gummy worms, and sprinkles. My kids had fun. They also actually loved the cultural tour of Sanaa, which was offered right after cake decorating. My kids were 7 and 9 and really enjoyed it, along with the bread service sample.
