Monorail Experts - MK to Epcot Late and 'Local' Traffic Questions??

Briefly, assuming Epcot closes at 9 pm and MK closes at 6 pm, if we linger at MK or one of the adjacent resorts after MK closing, how late can we catch the monorail to Epcot, get off there and walk through WS to the International Gateway to return to Dolphin? Also, (yep, a two-parter!)isn't there a 'local loop' of the 'rail that circles the lagoon, and does it always stop at each resort so we can visit all the MK resorts in sequence?

Thanks, we're fine tuning the plan!

I'm not sure they will admit you through the Epcot front gates past 9:00pm. You definitely would be able to get through before then.

The local monrail stops at MK (when it's open), Contemporary, TTC, Poly, GF. It will stop at each resort.

The Express Monorail will run for one hour after the MK closes.

The Resort Monorail, which services the TTC, Poly, GF, MK, and the Contemporary will run 2 hours after the MK closes, or 11pm... whichever is later.

The Epcot Monorail will run until 10:30, or until the Express monorail shuts down, whichever is later.

After Epcot closes, the gates will typically remain open for one hour, for those guests needing to walk to the Epcot Resorts. However, this is no guarantee that you will be let in.

Instead of walking through Epcot, you could always take the Studios bus from the TTC. Mention to the driver that you'd be going to the Dolphin. If the Studios has closed, they'll usually drop you off on the way. (No guarantees, but usually that's what happens)

So there is a bus from the TTC to the Studios even AFTER the Studios are closed? How long after the Studios close / When does the last bus generally leave the TTC?

This option sounds WAY better than transferring at DD!

Busses will continue to run to DAK, Studios, and Epcot (after the monorail shuts down) until approx 1am, give or take. These busses are for those who parked at the Studios/DAK/Epcot, and then went park hopping.

Once again, a reminder... no guarantees that the Studios bus could take you anywhere else besides the Studios. (However, it's not a far walk to the Swan/Dolphin from there in worse case...)

LOL, Chip 'n Dale Express! We don't mind the walk home (to BWV) from the Studios at all. The canal and lights from the Hotels and Boardwalk area are especially pretty at night. Not much of a worst case as far as we're concerned.

Thanks again for the info!
