I would also recommend Garden Grill. Great character interaction and it's a lot calmer than the character buffets. We did PPO breakfast and were one of the first people on Soarin'

The kids in our family like:

Epcot--Biergarten, its a german buffet with live oompa band music and kids are encouraged to get out on a dance floor and dance to it. Also, it serves beer flights that the adults like.

Magic Kingdom-Be Our Guest, eat in the Beast's castle, and our kids are ok with the menu. Except for breakfast.
For the history buffs in our family, Liberty Tree Tavern (all the neat knick nacks on the walls).

Animal Kingdom-Tusker House for lunch, great food with an African theme, and the characters are dressed in safari outfits!

Hollywood Studios--none of the kids in our family want to eat here, because the food at most places is gross. But if we have to eat here--Scifi Drive In, sit at car shaped tables, eat junk food, and watch old style drive in movies. Our kids hated the Prime Time 50's restaurant, no kid wants to be nagged to eat their vegetables or to overeat, errr "clean their plate" by a waiter or waitress.

Downtown Disney--if all else fails, go here.
Trex Cafe-this place has DINOSAURS and a FULL BAR UNDER AN OCTOPUS. The kids and adults in our family can agree to go here.
Raglan Road--has river dancers to entertain the kids. The food is also excellent!

I should also mention that the kids in our family our picky eaters--in a good way. They don't eat chicken nuggets, hot dogs, pizza, and the other tasteless crap that gets pushed on them at the various restuarant's kids menus. Nope, they want stuff off the adult menu, and have so far been grossed out by the majority of character meals out there and Ohana.
