According to the TSA, and yes, I know a lot of people don't trust them, despite the number of flyers in July 2020 being down 75% compared to July 2019, the number of guns found has tripled! And 80% of the guns were loaded. Are people really that stupid?

Maybe they were traveling to Portland, Chicago, or NYC and were willing to take the chance of getting caught by TSA as opposed to not being armed while there?

They have found several in Pittsburgh lately. The last news report said they allowed the guy to take it back to his car, but he will face charges (I think they aid civil charges?)

The whole idea of this puzzles us, my husband is a avid target shooter & hunter, and has been for 35 years or so. Never ONCE has he "accidentally" left a gun in a carry on or any other bag. Besides, they all have their own cases.
Worst thing he's ever done is left a shell in a pocket and I had to fish it out of the bottom of the washing machine!

LOL I thought the title meant they were changing the rules to allow more guns to be carried on. (Up from zero to some real amount)
Now that would be some travel news!
